  1. We have eaten our fair share of meals. We know all to well how important home field is in any sport. Good luck eagles Friday night at CA!
  2. Thanks for clearing that up. Also, my son was zoned to either Antioch or cane ridge, but my wife and I decided the drive to NCS was well worth it.
  3. So if NCS somehow loses and JB beats HC, district title would go to NCS still?
  4. I agree, it really doesn't matter since CA already has a district loss to JB. CA could beat NCS and JB loses to HC the title would still go to NCS with overall wins.
  5. This is the same thing i mentioned in an earlier post as well. I think when we caught JB during that wet, rainy, cold weather benefited NCS with our ground game. If we do have to play them, we really have to contain their QB because he is the nucleus of that offense and plays good defense as well.
  6. good afternoon guys, personally, I think we need to be more concerned about coming out of our quad. JB is peaking at the right time, and we all know that coach Atkins will have his team ready. WC is playing good football right now as well. Quad 3 will be no cake walk for NCS. Good luck to all teams and God bless.
  7. Our kids will stay focus, no matter what the outcome of this game. As far as the SP remark, we will entertain that discussion if and when we cross that bridge. Go eagles!!
  8. it's going to by nice and cool in the eagle's nest tomorrow night!! Exactly how we like it, go eagles!!

  10. GCA, we are not new to the playoff system by any means. we've been there for the past three years.
  11. Waker, Art doesn't speak for the entire NCS fan base. Last year, the kids really played extremely well, and of course we ran into Huntingdon. That game showed our players, coaches, and fans how much harder NCS has to work if they want to compete for the gold ball. It also humbled the kids a great deal. So no matter who says what on this post, remember our kids are a reflection of their coaches. They play with a tremendous amount of skill, passion, and sportsmanship every friday night. In my honest opinion, the kids are going to have to step it up another level come playoff time. We caught Jo Byrnes on a wet, rainy friday night. It's extremely difficult to beat a team twice in one season especially when the playoffs are at stake. Just ask Clarksville Academy last year when we went to their place and shut them down completely after they beat us in the third game of last year. Good luck to all teams the rest of the way and remember to pray for our kids safety. EM
  12. ambassador, east nasvhille isn't new at all. they have been around for years. actually, that's where oprah winfrey graduated from before going to TSU, lol. Anyway, they are considered a "magnet" school here in nashville. They've been under that unbrella for about 8-10 years I think, then again i may be off a few years. They're located about 2.5-3 miles east of downtown nashville.
  13. Huntingdon fans, your team was simply awesome. As a fan and dad, i couldn't get upset at all with the way the game turned out. You were a better ball club and hats off to you guys. I was also pleased at how well the game was played considering what we went through the week prior. My son, #7 stated that the kids from Huntingdon played harder and with a lot of passion. They were a well coached and well deserving team this year. He also stated that Warbritton was a very nice person and was very pleased to meet him. Good luck in the championship game mustangs!! Go eagles!!
  14. Prime example Bigswo, Clarksville Academy had a bye week befor their last game of the season. Turned around and drew the #2 seed in our quad with another bye. So they drew us, NC, and they were extremely flat. So I do think those late byes can be a detriment to your ball club
  15. Thanks for the info mustangpop. Our coaches are the same way. They don't teach nor tolerate bad play from their team. Unfortunately, we had a bad experience last week down in Collinwood. Each one of our players go about their business on the field like they've been taught, with professonalism and courtesy for the game. As you can probably imagine, we have been underdogs for most of the season. Like you guys, we take one game at a time and hopefully we're still around towards the end to make any game interesting.
  16. His kickoffs usually lands between the five and ten yard line. Last week however, he put two back in the endzone.
  17. our punter is just as effective as our kicker. so i would agree with you, that kicking is going to be a huge factor. Especially since we're going to have an uphill battle, field position will be key for us.
  18. Thanks moto24, we know it's going to be an uphill battle from start to finish. These kids will not quit or lay down for anyone.
  19. Can't wait to see two of 1A's top two backs go at it on the same field. Booker and Warbritton will both put on a good show for the fans. Warbritton, 39 TD'S (may have slightly more since last week) and Booker with 35 TD'S. "We will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." We will soar on wings like the eagles we are!!! Go eagles!!
  20. #52 and #7 for nashville christian has helped anchor the offense and defense.
  21. Not true Mirrorthief, it takes an entire team effort to be successful. #7 will be the first to tell anyone without his teammates, he wouldn't have the season he's having. So it's fair to say that no one person can carry an entire team. Go eagles!!!!
  22. IF Huntingdon and NCS meet, NCS would host since they're on the top bracket and its an even year.
  23. from that video, columbia academy just didn't wrap up! Our defense will wrap up until the wistle has blown. go eagles!!!
