Glad everyone is ok and it's great when people can look beyond the competition and pull together to help one another, GP is a class act and good luck to both teams in the future.

I agree she probably shouldn't have been in the game at that point but I'm not sure what the situation was, but I am sorry to hear that becuase she is a great girl and basketball player and I'm not sure if she has a reputation of getting Techs or why the ref would have to eject her but it seems like it was emotion on her part and probably on the ref's part and I'm not sure what she said but this is sad all the way around for her, her teammates, and the Science Hill fans, hopefully they can overcome the adversity and make it to State because it won't be the same without them there, they are one of the top teams in TN and should be there to compete. I agree and who ever wins and gets to State I think it will be a great tournament and I am looking forward to watching AA and single A as well because Tennessee has so much talent, Good luck to all the teams.

It may not be Riverdale that advances you can't dismiss Columbia and as far as BLACKMAN not beating Riverdale 3 times, last year Riverdale beat Blackman 3 times maybe 4 but this time of year you can never measure the heart of who wants it more so anything can happen and I'm sure alot of people feel confident in their chances with 3 of the top teams cancelling each other out but that is the set up same as in boys football.

I can't blame you for not wanting to see Blackman because you guys havn't played a team like that except in camp and Blackman won without their pointguard but you should want to beat the best to be the best and it won't be anything like those East Tennessee teams you beat up on it will be tough if you play Riverdale, Columbia, or Oakland all battle tested teams so we will see you in the Boro no matter which Middle TN teams make it.

I know you want to see Blackman get knocked off but Riverdale has to get by Columbia at their home gym 1st which won't be easy then Blackman will be waiting on the winner and Oakland will have to probably get pass Shelbyville in their gym if Smyrna loses which won't be easy so anything can happen but you shouldn't put down a school who works just as hard as Riverdale I know you would like them to win it every year but they have alot of competition this year and the playing field has been leveled its a shame some good teams won't make it but I wish all the girls good luck.

That is really disgusting and somebody needs to be held accountable and some type of reimbursement needs to happen if their things are not returned but I know it does nothing for things of sentimental value this is a sad thing to hear and now other visiting teams need to beware.

I believe it should be Alexa who wins but also lets not forget Bashaara Graves was an All American and people thought she was a shoe in but Shacobia won I just think there are so many great players in TN that its an honor to be recognized and some will be left out like a Brooke Copeland I know her team is having a tough year but it in no way diminishes the great impact player she is and I know she will do great things at Florida and I will be watching and rooting her on.

I really don't think it should be a bashing of the coach when everything he is doing is allowed and most of these kids we praise and enjoy watching Middleton, Davenport, Eubanks, Oliver, Gibson, Alexander, Hunt, Lawson, Dangerfield,Norris, Jackson, Johnson, Bond, Allen, Smith, Petty, Jones, Barbee, Graves, I'm positive I left out some names just giving examples of kids he has trained since they were very young or at some point in their careers and we have Miss Basketballs, McDonalds All Americans, Nationally ranked players, top in the state so I say lets give the coach some credit here.

I can understand both sides its just a slippery slope when kids can transfer and play midseason without having any penalties but its ok because they suffer also not being in TSSAA, he is coaching alot of kids that may not play much at other schools therefore they are getting great coaching something some schools may or may not want to take time to develop in kids and I don't mind a little yelling some kids respond to it some don't being a coach I'm sure he knows his kids and I wish all the kids good luck as the playoffs approach and I hope Lancaster will join TSSAA it will only make for more great basketball.

Which big teams are you saying won't play them and what would be the reason behind it, does the win or loss count if they are not in TSSAA and have they played any good TN teams I do know they have some great players and would love to see them play in Middle Tennessee.

I believe Gilbert from Columbia signed with UT Chatt where her older sister is but had multiple top D1 offers she turned down she was a big reason Columbia beat Riverdale and probably is the best athlete in the state IMHO.

Congratulations Alexa you definitely earned it and I know you will represent Tennessee well, keep up the good work.

Congratulations to Blackman the future looks bright for 7AAA basketball and its anybodys game to lose on any given day in Middle Tennessee it will be a tough road to travel for teams to get to the glass house and I wish all the girls good luck and pray they stay injury free.

I don't think there were very many fouls called it was a really fast paced game.

Calm down I'm just saying they always get to state but havn't been able to win it all for whatever reason and that has to be tough to get so close and not come out with a win, and your right about playin in the Boro the competition will be tough for whoever makes it there.

I do agree Oakland held their own against Blackman and I also credit their coach with a great game plan of slowing Blackman down and making them play their game and the 2nd half Blackman made some adjustments to pull away enough for the win. Oakland has shown they can and will be in the conversation come district tournament time. I expect a tough competitive game tonight between Riverdale and Blackman as they go round 1 of possibly 3 or 4 more games, Good luck to all the girls tonight that represent Middle TN so well.

The fact that Science Hill is undefeated means they should be number 1 if you"re going off of numbers but they have not played the same caliber of teams that Riverdale and Blackman has and you have to wonder if thats what's holding them back from winning it all and if the record is more important than the gold ball. I believe they are a great team but are they battle tested enough is the question because they always seem to have a easy road to state and then hit the wall at State IMHO anyway good luck to all the girls and I can't wait to see them play at the next level.

This is unbelievable you can't tell me TN doesn't have enough talent to be nominated I would like to know how these votes are done because this is shocking and congratulations to Rachel Bell you deserve it and so does Alexa, Shelbie, Brooke Copeland and Keiana Gilbert and Jaycee Coe one of the top shooters in the country.

Riverdale will win by 30 or 40, Blackman beat them by 40 and thats with running clock, they are not the same Memphis Central, probably in a rebuilding phase besides having go to player Tia Wooten.

I agree devil its a matter of teams thats why I brought up classification because JC is a much smaller school than Riverdale and Blackman and we love JC (Jaycee Coe) that is, you know she plays in the summer with the Riverdale, Blackman, and Oakland kids so we know what she is capable of and hate that her point guard got injured and wish her all the best.

Something tells me we havn't heard the last of Bradley Central I agree Brandon100 that was 2 heavyweights who will both improve throughout the season. That's Tennessee basketball.
