Very successful football program. Haywood County is the best program in West Tennessee. I hope they get that gold ball. That is all they like.

LC will show up and play the Memphis hand picked all star team. LC been to Memphis many times over the years and for the most part leave with a win. MASE hasn't played anyone all year. LC will give the Memphis hand picked all star team all that want. Don't be surprised if LC leaves Memphis with another win.

I am from the school of thought that my school will play anyone. LC normally plays a difficult schedule anyway. I just think there should be hard cutoff instead of equal about of schools per class. Equal number doesn't mean that it is fair. Gleason with 40 boys to choice from shouldnt have to play team x with 150 to choose from. Although the numbers for schools in other classes maybe 250 boys to choice from against 400 to choose is more fair than what a school such as Gleason as to compete against numbers wise. There are several small 1 A schools that faces this challenge. The TSSAA seems like they look out for the bigger schools when it comes to classification.

Cartman we have a back that is a sophomore that will be a household name this time next year. We return 3 receivers, qb and most of our line. We return the bulk of our defense and have 2 8th graders that would be pushing for starting time now if they were in high school.

I think a hard cut for 1A should be 350 to 360. No more than that. You have schools with enrollments of 120 or less playing football. Their roster size is no more than 25 on a good year and alot of that is made up of 8th graders.

Cartman next year LC will be pretty dang good. I am a realist and around the program alot. I know what the talent level is. I have never said anything bad about WC. The last few years they have been pretty successful. Lost in the quarterfinals to LC a couple of times. I think one year went to semifinals a few years back. I think they have a solid program. I have no problem with you picking against LC. That is right. I have never said anything bad about WC. I have been around LC football a long time. I have seen LC in decline before and at this particular time LC is not in decline. 2020 lost to Fayetteville semifinals, last year lost to a really good Peabody team. This year jury still out. Next year LC will again field a good team. So no decline sometimes you run into somebody that is just better than you but the demise of Lake County football is along away off. Whatever Cartman. I guess you are football guru. LC may or may not lose in the 2nd round but they will be playing in the 2nd round. So keep hating maybe oneday in the distant future West Carroll will have a history. So hate away all you want. Good luck to West Carroll the rest of the way. I truly hope they make the playoffs with the ex falcons on their sidelines. If WC can keep both those coaches maybe they will be able to establish a winning culture in that program. Imo the TSSAA should go with a true cutoff number and not worry about same number of schools in each class. Whole purpose is to have schools with similar enrollments playing each other instead of having equal number in each class but the TSSAA doesn't ever do what is right.

Butchie and Duckman were great guys. Met them several times over the years. They truly loved McKenzie and the stories they would share are stuff of legends. Both a truly missed.

Dresden will put the McKenzie game behind them and win this game big. Hodge will have his team ready. This is not a slight on McEwen but Dresden is just a better team. The lions are better than the effort they gave Friday night. McKenzie is just senior laden team on a mission. All of Dresden's aspirations are still there for them to achieve. Thanks Tide. I generally root for most local teams when my team is eliminated from playoffs. Especially fellow region teams. If my Falcons can't win it then I become tide fan or a fan of who is left in our region.

Cartman I don't know what your grudge is against LC football? I generally wish WC nothing but the best. As far as your decline comment. All I can say is you are very wrong on that. Not every team will be like the 2019 team but LC will be in the conversation for deep playoff runs for awhile. Not throwing shade but will West Carroll ever get in that conversation?

Lake County is going to come to Brownsville and play their game and let the chips fall were they may. It's an uphill battle but the Falcons will give it their all. It's a shame that a small 1A school is willing to play the Tomcats and schools their size and bigger will not. I just hope for an injury free game for both teams.

I totally agree. They should start at the bottom and work there way up but if they go that route then they will start at the top. The TSSAA has a hard time doing what is right. Looking at some of the enrollment numbers I have alot questions with some certain schools. One school in local area has dropped 110 kids since the last enrollment cycle. They turned there enrollment in in August. I have a hard time believing with the size of that town that they dropped that many students. I think a surprise count of some schools should happen if in question. That's just me speculating about this school.

I think McKenzie is the clear cut favorite along with Fayetteville. As far as coaching goes we will just have to wait for that game. The games I watched MASE play they seemed like a typical coached 1A or 2A team from Memphis. Our staff is young and are in their first year. They are doing a good job and getting better every week. I will say this about WC coaching staff. I never saw a Wolfe coached West Carroll team have that many unsportsmanlike penalties called on them. Maybe last night was out of character for them. I know two coaches on that staff that does condone that kind of stuff. Again, maybe that was just out of character. Good luck to West Carroll. I truly hope they make the playoffs. How is number 51 doing? I heard he broke his collarbone last night.

The question to all of this is what the TSSAA is going to do. Are they going to divide classes evenly or use a hard number for a cutoff? Imo the hard number needs to be used. It groups the schools that have similar enrollments together better than even number of teams in each class.

Not saying MASE cannot beat LC but they are not as good as people are making them out to be at all. LC will give them all they want. You wouldn't be telling me nothing that I didn't know if MASE wins. I watch alot of football and I know when a team is good. MASE is a good football team but not unbeatable. Question is can West Carroll get a playoff spot? I hope so because of their LC connections.

2nd round team? LC will give MASE all they want and more. Seen MASE twice and LC can play with them.
