This game should come down to the wire. I expect East to give their best performance of the year and I think the officials will let the teams play. Seldom do you see a ton of penalties in State games but with this East bunch it most def could happen. I am just keeping it real

South Pitt ability to throw it some had you guys on your heels which helped open up their run game. SP opening it up last few years makes them much harder to prepare for because they all known for running the football. If South Pitt had thrown it in 2020 they would have another Gold Ball. McKenzie making it here 3 years in a row teals me you guys are building something special over there. Would not surprise me if these two teams played again in 2024. I am just keeping it real.

Been told all year that 1A & 2A ball in the East is weak as water. I have seen several West games. Competition is definitely been much different however none of it matters come next Friday though. I am just keeping it real.

I get it but here is the thing. ER has been mouthing off and acting out all year long. It’s about every game. All teams jaw back and forth but ER has to know when they are up 35-7 to not throw a punch. Doesn’t matter what the other team does. You can’t throw hands and hurt your team in the state championship game. That is just stupid on the player and there is no sugar coating it. Not saying York is not guilty of playing dirty. Again I haven’t watched it yet but regardless you have to be smarter. Hope Groves is not seriously out next Friday. I am just keeping it real.

I plan on watching it tomorrow and the South Pitt game. I went to Bradley tonight but I wasn’t the least bit surprised with them imploding. Great talent but equally bad attitudes. I am just keeping it real

What I witnessed tonight wasn’t expected. I thought Bradley would have played them a lot closer but it wasn’t really as close as the final score made it. Oakland was not impressed with Boo Carter. Great season Bears! Nothing to be ashamed of. Just haven’t been here before and Oakland has. To be the man you gotta beat the man and tonight you just didn’t have the gas to do it. Hope I don’t hurt feelings but 17 & 19 Team would get cooked by this South Pitt team. Neither of those teams could defend the pass and neither team had game breakers on offense. I watched those teams several times and went to 2017 & 2019 Greenback games. Now I was told the main RB was hurt in 2017 so maybe I am off on that team some but y’all didn’t have the same kinda team speed. I only saw the score of tonight’s game but if the QB didn’t play you can’t even begin to compare. I am just keeping it real. Hope the injury wasn’t bad. Everyone wants to talk offense but this game will be determined by the defenses tonight. Can York can eliminate a lot of chunk plays from ER? If they can make them earn it and limit the big plays ER is susceptible. Can ER get York off the field and keep them from eating clock? I look for a little bit of both tonight. Should be a great game. In the end I think ER just has too much skill for York. ER by 14. I am just keeping it real

If you have followed these threads early on in the year I said ER and Marion were the favorites. Have maintained ER has the most talent in 2A and only Marion could match their skill. However, a blind man can see they struggled with discipline all year and at times played down to their competition. Of course Smith destroying City raised eyebrows causing many including myself to think they might run through the East. The 2nd half ER team that played Marion obviously showed up ready to play last night. ER has grown men and if they play clean football and eliminate all the false starts and show boating they will beat York. Riverside will be a handful in Chatt. I am just keeping it real

South Pitt is just on an another level this year. 35-0 at half isn’t something most would’ve thought was possible. South Pitts defense is salty. Impressive win and next Friday will be even worse. I am just keeping it real

I am going to go back and watch this one again on NFHS. East Robertson is impressive when they play clean. Just haven’t seen it all year until last night. Talent is undeniable but can they keep that focus there two more weeks? That is the challenge. I am just keeping it real
