I saw the same game and it only raised doubt in my mind as to whether they can bring home the gold ball again. Trinity is at best an average team and Middleton struggled all night with them. I think GC beats them if they play anywhere but at Middleton. I worry that if Middleton gets down to a very good team, they don't have the senior leadership and calming effect that they had last year.

Up and down! basically 500 ball. They have a lot of tools but struggle some nights. Still are dangerous come post season play because 2-6 teams are all pretty evenly matched and district 16 has been notoriously mediocre come Region tournament time. Would be competing for the district championship if they had a dominant PG that could penetrate and beak down defenses.

You are naive if you think public schools with open enrollment dont recruit! Incredibly naive! And D1 private schools cannot offer assistance for athletes. If they do, then they have to play D2.

So how is allowing open enrollment and letting kids go to whatever school they want fair, while the private schools have to have a multiplier on their enrollment and play against schools much larger than them if they chose to play in the D1 division?
