Well coached group of girls who are always, especially in years past criticized for their strength and style of play. McNeal and his staff have a great program going there. Those girls have always been a class act and so are their coaches. BUT they hold their own on the court.

SS wins by 2 and missed a ton of FTs. When officials call the game right and dont let 31 get away with all that flopping and actually call fouls that are happening, they can be beat easily. That game almost got chippy. District Tournament should be interesting.

Ok thx for that correction. I haven't seen WV since their classic and I havnt seen Macon at all this year. Expecting to see Macon in Mboro as usual, but I dont think, from what I seen WV makes the trip this year

What middle school in Jackson has an 8th grader that will come in and play on a team with no seniors? It's my understanding that the freshman has mid major interest already from her play this summer

Exactly what I heard from a coach at Humboldt. But that it was some players going back and forth as well. Why not just beef up the security instead of hindering parents and family members form being able to come to the game.

If its #3 for the Jr Pioneers, she can go make a big difference right now. If they were in the same building I am sure she would be added to the roster as soon as the middle school played their last game.

**New Information..I didn't know this. I work at a middle school and they do the rotation. I seem to like that. Each school gets to make the concessions revenue and all the work is not on the same school/people every year. Also, as stated above gives you the opportunity to have diversity in your school

I saw pics on Facebook. One team had on purple shirts with #8 and the other had on gold with #24 or vice versa. I also saw where some schools did a moment of silence for 24.8 secs.

Middle schools do head to head, then coin toss. Many stopped doing point differential to keep people from running up the score. And i think that is what most high schools do now as well

I think it should be a rotation. As stated some schools may not be able to hold the capacity, at that point it should go to the next school in rotation. JMO

Her mother is not married, but i heard that she is the reason for all this moving back and forth and that the kid didnt want to, at least this last time. And no i missed Saturday's games.

I am convinced that transfer rules do not apply in Memphis. They also have a transfer from Crockett Co who has played, left and played and came back all this season.

South Greene as one of my tournament favorites a few years back with Taylor Lamb. She was as tough as they come and willed her teams to wins

These media folks are a joke. Looking over kids who should be or should have been at least nominated if not finalist. I think they're bias, and there is some prejudice behind it as well. Three West tn names come to mind from the last few yrs. Im sure more goes into it, but #s dont lie. Hailey Hardaway Q. Miller Jamirah Shutes (should have won)

No doubt. One of the best around and certainly wish all kids the best, especially West Tn kids
