  1. If they didn't split up Shelby Co., they probably would have
  2. MJ can always appeal Stewarts Creek has made some good strides. Obviously would be hard for them to finish in the top 2, but I could see them as a playoff regular
  3. Well it only took me 4 tries but that was pretty close
  4. https://portal.tssaa.org/common/classification/?schoolYear=2025&sportid=1&type=high
  5. That was put there when the brackets were originally released because it is 4-6A's turn to host the Quarters so winner of Oakland-MJ is hosting no matter how this game turns out
  6. Well the text says after 10am, so that's past mid-morning
  7. I think if the members on this website took a look around the country at other governing bodies that the TSSAA gets more things right than they do wrong. Unpopular opinion I know
  8. TSSAA headquarters is in Hermitage so probably Central
  9. If both win, the game will be at Oakland since they are the higher seed
  10. Blackman also just lost to CC a week prior. Blackman's schedule definitely help them though Maybe Oakland wins comfortably but this isn't MJ's first time. In most matchups with Oakland, MJ's defense has put them in a position to win
  11. Some times it just clicks. Blackman had the same problem until they put it all together against Green Hill Once you get to the playoffs, all the stuff about building depth, etc goes out the window. The best should be playing on both sides
  12. I don't think there's a Oakland fan on here that thinks this game is a slam dunk. Mt. Juliet absolutely has the weapons to win this game
  13. Biggest crux for Blackman this year is getting any kind of consistency out of their offense. The defense has been there all season Tooting my own horn here, but I was pretty vocal that Kriesky would make a positive impact at Blackman. He's lived in Murfreesboro for a long time and I see him staying at Blackman for a good while. Their feeder program has been every bit as good as Oakland's, so it was just an issue of laying a foundation. Blackman needs to put pressure on Riverdale early with a score or two, they don't have the high octane offense they had last year but you do need to bottle up DJ Taylor
  14. I remember when Oakland first started winning titles under Creasy ppl couldn't wait to say that they're just winning gold bc TN is weak, that they couldn't beat out of state competition No other team has scored more than 24 on Oakland in regulation, Anna scored twice that much. They have an enrollment that would translate to 6A in TN and I'd be willing to bet they would do pretty good
  15. Your the one comparing TN to Texas, a state that has about 100 schools that are larger than the largest school in TN. I'd feel pretty confident against privates too if the school i followed had an enrollment of 4-5k
  16. Best I can tell at least 9 public school classes. Class 6A alone has 250 schools. Anna is 5A-2
  17. Texas has 1,500 teams, close to 5 times the amount of teams TN has. Anna is 16th in their class with a win over a top 10 team. Anyone that has seen their QB play knows that he's legit
  18. https://unapproved website/tx/anna/anna-coyotes/football/schedule/ Guess you should have waited before opening your mouth, troll
  19. Your comparing TN to states that produce elite level talent at a much higher level. Harder for privates to hoard FBS talent when there is so much of it
  20. Biggest difference this time around is Oakland more balanced than they have been in recent years. They can't dominate at the LOS like alot of Oakland teams can but Tutt, Bandy, and Morris make for a scary combo. To his credit, Kyler Creasy has proven to be an effective QB up to this point when given time in the pocket, that will be put to the test against a good MJ defense. It is perplexing how MJ can be so inconsistent on offense. They def have the pieces to score on anyone. It'll be an interesting matchup with an Oakland defense that looks to be playing better every week
  21. From my point of view, I feel like LC knows who they are. When they had talent to compete in 5A, they were pretty decent but most years they don't and I doubt Marston would have made it this long at LC if they felt differently. Loretto and Summertown's history not much different and it's definitely alot easier to win in 2A than 5A. Same also applies to other sports
  22. https://www.cleveland.com/highschoolsports/article/ohsaas-competitive-balance-referendum-the-latest-round-in-a-national-fight-between-public-and-private-schools/ It's not
  23. You got a better chance of winning the lottery than either of those happening
