I think Larry did all he could.He keyed on the players that beat him the previous 3 games, then it left open shots for the youngsters and they stepped up. Upperman is long ,athletic quick with most of the players it hard for offenses to overcome. Hopefully the post that went down will be back. After that happened upperman took it to another level and game over.

I was at that game. Clarkrange offense was a pick and roll about foul line extended .the pick player which was Cooper and Meadows shaver ,prematurely breakun off and gettin called on it. When u get to the glass house that is one of the calls that mostly all year u get away with gets called. Lamar I think has all kinds of records and no telling how many young ladies he has coached thru the years. One word "legend".

I think Macon had their best chance so far tonight to beat upperman. Hopefully we could see a region final rematch

I thought same thing,and am sure it has crossed minds but actually implementing the plan to do is the hard part. I don't think none of the coaches would do it when it comes down to it..

I have watched both play.Here is my take, if u go alone off stats Dishman will be hard to beat. She is a great high school basketball talent and has worked extremely hard. Now the skinny and I am sure to ruffle feathers but nothin personal. If there was a high school draft and I was coaching and I had the number #1 pick ,I am choosin Levy for my point guard. her ball handling skills ,quickness ,mental awareness,moves, is just off the charts. She makes everyone around her better,she is a 1 and a million player ,u just don't see everyday. Good luck to both young ladies.

Clarkrange will win state. I predicted it from summer, going down with the ship. Clarkrange wins on thier home" small court".

Real news;Final Score was 66-57. Uhs wins by 9. Half court shot made before half and a bank shot 24 footer at the final buzzer by Macon. Two very good teams in a district battle.

Stickin to my prediction, however I knew Clarkrange would get better as season went on but they are much ahead of schedule they may not lose again.

Here in the upper cumberland we have some pretty good girl basketball,however none really go to the next level anymore to play d1 because they are what I call "upper cumberland set shooters"(and they can shoot). A girl that can create, shoot off the dribble quickly and elevate to a jump shot are what i consider elite players, we just dont see that around here very often.

I could see this unfolding like Jackson county ,Celina few years back. Pickett will probably win the majority against Clarkrange early, but both make state tournament opposite brackets and meet in championship. It's hard to keep beating same good teams over and over, as Celina ended as #1 state champions. This match up is very similiar in the making.

White will battle Stone for first,not a given 1st place for Stone..

If Pickett has a sure d1 prospect as a freshman ,she should average no less than 15 pts a game being a freshman then with the talent comin back should be no problem in winnin the district or even state, but Clarkrange is your 2017 class A runner up state and I agree they look better than they did last year. New game ,new style.

statistically, this years head to head match up who had better statistics? I see two great high school talented players each with strengths and weaknesses comparing each game's, I see Overton more of a two guard role and Levy a true point guard so hard to compare the two on a recruiting college level and what college team needs are.
