The former D coordinator was very good tonight. Congrats to WV on a good game plan. From my perspective, those guys are young but have a better future ahead. On to game 2......some work needs to be done.

At the end of the day, it takes solid play in all phases of the game and a "little" luck every now and then. We don't have recruitment over here, but I can see where it pays off in crunch time games. It's a private school perk and no one should fault the kids for going somewhere to win a championship. It's the system we have and in the end, it comes down to $$$$$$.

Congrats to Liberty and good luck from West Tennessee football faithful. Also, congrats to Milan for a good season. I never would have picked Milan to make it to the quarterfinal round, but you guys seem to just kick it in gear year in and year out. Tremendous coaching job by Morris. Liberty is a well-rounded team and they have consistently turned it up a notch in the 2nd half in pretty much every game this year. That's a true sign of a program who is rolling. Go win a Gold one.

Postseason comments from me: I have to agree with Horse. If Huntingdon would have been "full" strength, that game is a lot closer. I believe Peabody will be able to get it done in Nashville, but you would be foolish to think the NCS recruits won't play a factor. They consistently have good teams and this should be a heck of a game to watch.

Congrats to Peabody and good luck against NCS. No excuses, simply out played and the "experience" caught up with Dresden tonight. Malone is a gifted athlete and Peabody has some others out there that deserve more credit as well. Pulling for Peabody to win it all now.

I recall it. It won't be drizzling tomorrow night, it's going to be raining......deep passing routes. This game will be maximum capacity and expect a good showing from both teams. Dresden needs to keep their composure when the trash talking starts.....the scoreboard should have the final say in all matters. Last post about this game....Let the best team win!

Should be a loud and rowdy crowd. Hopefully, this rain that is coming will be gone. Should be a sloppy field. Bring an appetite for some football.

BigSwo....you probably know more than most of us on here, but I heard from some pretty reliable sources over the weekend that the kid committed some vandalism and destroyed some of the property in the visiting locker room. It's on camera and it's no doubt of who it was. I'm hearing possible charges from the two that I talked to...is that the conversation over there?? This is a football game, when it's all said and done, but if the school tolerates that kind of behavior then it doesn't bode well with that school or that administration. With him or without him, either way--it doesn't matter to Dresden. It seems that someone in Trenton has only enabled his actions by continuing to sweep it under the rug.

Will be a battle and both teams are pretty stout. The first go around shocked several with the "lack" of intensity and play by HC. Going with HC by 3 points.

This will be a tough matchup for the Dawgs, but upsets have been abundant this post season.

Congrats to NCS for advancing and to Huntingdon for going as far as you have. Hard to press on with the key losses of the personnel. You probably won't hear anything but "crickets" from Huntingdon. They tend to run when they take a beating.

Carver is very athletic and probably the fastest team Dresden has played this year. Unfortunate that it got a little ugly late with what I believe was a dirty play by going after the knees of a QB. I'm getting out of this city. Thanks for the BBQ, the atmosphere, and the good cool weather.
