Our QB got hurt on the first drive and didn’t return. It was actually 7-6 toward the end of the 3rd. Then it was downhill from there!

Did anyone else go to the game? I’m interested in hearing some East fans thoughts on the game.

I didn’t make it. Listened on the radio. 2 interceptions (one in the end zone) and a touchdown called back for a penalty will not win you close games. Seemed to be a very controversial call at the end. We hit a 50 yd pass play into the red zone. The ball was apparently knocked out on the tackle. The refs initially called it down by contact but then proceeded to discuss the call for 5 minutes (no joke) and decided to overturn it. Regardless, sounds like we didn’t deserve it anyway. Still feel good about our team, especially the defense. We are just really lacking the QB play that we’ve had in years past.

We lined up in the I formation and ran it right at them all night. I can’t remember the last time we didn’t have a passing touchdown in a game.

38-14 Bobcats win. Good to see our young RB living up to the hype. He is going to be special. 4 TDS and almost 300 yards rushing. Lot of credit goes to the O line. Our D played great also. I believe Lincoln County will win several games this year.

Bobcats had another good scrimmage on Wednesday night vs Ensworth. I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far. Our defense has been really good. Can't wait to get things started next week!

No, we just had to forfeit the wins last year when the kid was on the team (even though he hardly played). We could have actually gone to the playoffs if we had won our last two games. I agree with cleaning up the personal fouls. Did you see the kids bear crawling on the sideline after that? I'm sure those things will get corrected. I thought we were just the more physical team from the start. Not sure about the fighting. It looked to me like we came to play football and the outcome indicated that.

We have a brutal region with all the metro Nashville schools. If we can make it to the playoffs, we could definitely make some noise. We don’t have the big play ability that we’ve had the past few years but our lines are much better. Our D has impressed me the most.

I left early in the 3rd. It was 34-7 I believe. Pretty one sided. Cornersville really had a tough time running on our D and we pretty much moved the ball at will on offense. We did have a ton of stupid penalties. I think Cornersville will have a great season. I think they were just a little outmatched.

We play at the end of the season so I'm sure y'all will be more than ready. You have a good coach and plenty of talent. I'm seeing that we are traveling back up to your place to play this year again. I'm not sure if that's a mistake or not. Is that what you are seeing? How is East looking this year? We play them pretty early in the season.

We won both of our spring scrimmages by a total of 103-14. We should be very competitive in the district.

Not sure how it will translate to the regular season but Giles County went 5-0 this past weekend at the 7v7 tournament at the University of Tennessee.

This is sad. Walt seemed pretty happy about not having us on the schedule when he posted it on twitter. I guess that’s the only way he could figure out to keep the cowbell at LC. Looks like he wasn’t counting on us to forfeit two years in a row.

Stratford literally brought 8 fans with them Friday night. The lack of attendance from opponents this year really sucked the life and fun environment out of the games for sure.
