Seeing as you are new to the OR community, maybe brush up on a little OR football history. I would like to know the reason Graham left in the first place. I have a gut feeling that it has something to do with a “higher up” that is still involved. Swallow the pride and give the man a call. No reason he should be at Clinton coaching.

I just made it up. I bet folks are all over Twitter trying to find it. That’s how easy it is for things to get blown out of proportion. The Admin and CSC know the real reason for what has occurred. CSC took them the qtrs after a horrendous season the year before. Someone will take this job but most good coaches will have some serious questions to ask before taking on this job.

If they switched teams, AC qb would have been running for his life in most games. Not sure that is up his alley. He had a great year though and I think he is really dang good football player. I think if Mar Mar plays for AC this year, they still win the whole dang thing. Just my two pennies. Now I understand why you folks are upset about him not winning. He would be the first legitimate “Maverick” to win it.

I really don’t care what you think of our “losy” football team, but I will say that the committee got this absolutely correct! Mr Jackson was a top 3 football player in this area. He was often the best player on the field in most games. Nobody got robbed here. I am sure WM is a great kid and is much happier winning a state title over a Mr. Football award. Has AC ever had a Mr. Football winner?

Would have loved seeing Laytham’s numbers had he played 4 quarters of all 10 games of the regular season. Hard to allow when you are up 50 in the first quarter. Congrats to Mar Mar…. Dude was electric all year long!

Listened to Coach Rathbone on the Main Street Preps podcast last night. Not sure he thinks his team is the underdog. Basically said the OL at West isn’t very good and he feels like they will be able to “overwhelm” West. Based on the film he is just not sure West is very good at all. Can’t really tell. Alluded that Henry County is better. Should be a fun one on Friday night. Good luck to both squads! I’ll take Page by a trickle or two based on the evaluation of Rathbone.

No idea here. West keeps making me look foolish. Boone looks big on D. They haven’t given up very many points a lot like the Rebels. Something has to give this week. Nothing to compare on the schedule really.

Hate to say it, but I like Powell in this one. Unless the Wildcats can muster some offense I don’t think this one is close. The OR D can keep it close for a bit but that O has got to find a way to put points on the board.
