A d2 AA and AAA school out of Memphis or nashville is like comparing apples to oranges when it comes to private school. The Memphis and nashville schools have a way bigger pool to recruit. The bigger the school the more money they have and more donors. Look at who wins most of the championships in d2 it’s the schools who are near or in more populated areas.

Very very good. Lausanne has lost players in the past to img academy out of florida. Img recruits on a national level. You don’t play at img unless you are 4-5 star athlete.

Gibson county went to memphis few years ago and played on turf they could barely move without slipping and falling at least it seemed that way you know I love to see the butt dogs lose. Most talented team in the state. Rumor is the qb hadn’t taken a snap under center all year and they went in to victory formation with him under center….. kids from all over Shelby county I can’t remember exact numbers but like 30 seniors on a team of 36 or so and only like one player played both ways the senior class went from like 8 their sophomore year to 30 kids their senior year but no other class grew real weird….

You guys are forgetting the past trezevant comed first to mind then fairley. Fairley had more than three schools worth of seniors the year they fumbled in victory formation

Yep but was it coincidence they all went to same school with the coach ? Tssaa allows a free for all of transfers in Shelby county as long as it’s not blatant

School was shutdown due to embezzlement but you wouldn’t think every football player would go to same school with their coach

Injuries the team was never whole from the first game of the season. Best linebacker suppose to be runningback was hurt all year played on and off and never was right. Him being injured hurt the defense and offense tremendously

Huntingdons turf is just that much better than everyone else’s. Everything is better in Huntingdon. Getting in better shape has nothing to do with hanging your cleat in turf

I haven’t watched much football prior to this season I usually go to 7v7 or whatever I can get to. The only thing I have seen is what was streamed of them against Peabody. Our oline didn’t look good but how good is sgc dline ? Peabody is young and only like 1-2 returning with playing time. Only 9 seniors and I’m not sure if there are many of them starting. Sgc looked pretty good to me but like I said Peabody is young and inexperienced but the qb is good he gave Milan fits last year until he broke his collarbone. From the looks of the jamboree Peabody’s issues are inexperienced oline and inexperience on defense but I think they will improve

Turf in general causes more injuries. It’s not forgiving at all. Ask most high school players and they will tell you they would rather play on natural grass
