Whatever happens the answer is not Dustin Peels!! That would be last nail in the coffin for a program that has not won a game in 30 tries. ( that is three years folks) it is a shame.

The person that made the coaching hire for Greenback should have his butt kicked!!! A strength coach from Sweetwater for what was once one of the elite programs in 1-A. what a shame.

First loss ever to oakdale. Maybe the strength coach needs to hit the weights more!!

Well their season ended tonight and they were able to put up their third consecutive winless season. Even after firing coaches in mid season. Made absolutely no positive effects whatsoever. This is a sad situation for this school and community. Even the other county schools are hardly any better. I think back to when coach Wiggins and coach Satterfield had the program for seven years. More wins than any other coaches. Four straight playoff appearances. they should have kept them or at the least bring them back now!! This program is barely on life support and current coaches will finish them off if they are left in place. does anyone in Monroe county care???

I picked coalfield to win the game. Did not think it would be this close.

Coalfield wins this one. Greenbacks three wins came against teams that if you put them together couldn’t win.

Are teams that only have forfeited wins due to Covid and have lost all the games they played going to be allowed in the playoffs?

I thought your coach is supposed to be a very smart offensive guy. Should have had something figured out by this time.

Blount county needs to build another school and downsize So they could get into a class that they can compete in. If they proceed to build the one at eagleton and siphon off enough students from both schools it could help everyone all the way around

Being five A last year didn’t seem to be a deterrent for Greenback. They won big. Now this year being five A All of sudden gives LC. all the advantage. This is why big schools playing small schools is always a lose—lose for the big school

I don’t believe Greenback took their foot off of the pedal last year. Not sure LC has fire power to return the favor.

Tough season for the cherokees. Been a while since they were winless.

It looks like SEQUOYAH is going to be 0-10 for the second year in a row. How can this happen to a AAAA school with almost a thousand students. I feel sorry for the players.

I was correct on the outcome of this game. Barring a Covid forfeit. Looks like oakdale may be best shot for a win.

People in Greenback shouldn’t be upset. They have done the same or worse to a lot of other schools.

Greenback loses to OS. At Oliver springs. Unless the Greenback recruiting staff can get a mid-season transfer or two.

I didn’t think that Davis would be a good fit at central to begin with. I think he expects more from the central boys than they are willing to give. Has he changed his offense any since he was Polk ?
