All of the surrounding counties and cities are very proud of Greenback this season. All of their former players are killing it for Greenback this year.

That kind of limits a response. Coaching and administration kind of covers all the bases. losing is one thing but getting beat by the scores being put up by opponents. No excuses. the only way they get a score in last two games will be if the other teams have pity and let them score. lack of experience as a coach at the 4-A level will usually end up with these kind of scores. Too bad for the kids. If they were competitive it might be easier to take.

They hired a person with no head coaching experience on the varsity level. I think he was coaching middle school football at a Christian school in Knoxville. Shows what Monroe county thinks about Sequoyah football.

Is this school the worst football team around?? They have gotten embarrassed in every game. cant score and can’t play defense.

For years the public schools cried over the unfairness of having to play private schools that recruited their players, had more money, better facilities etc. Now that we finally have a complete divide just really reveals the fact that public schools are better at recruiting than the private’s. The TSSAA does not want anyone to report violations i don’t know about SP players this year but Greenback has players on the team from multiple schools from surrounding schools. They can deny all they want to but it is what it is.

Greenback will not play a serious opponent until they meet south Pitt in playoffs

Did Red Bank and South Pitt play today??

If south Pitt can beat or play a close game with Red Bank. They will be the best team in1A. RED BANK is the real deal.

He doesn’t seem to have the recruiting magic he had at gca.

Sequoyah did go all out when they hired a middle school coach from a little Christian school in Knoxville. I guess he will learn along with the team he is trying to coach.

Twisted is soooooo wrong. I have known Rankin since he started at smith county. Rankin wants to win every Time. Especially against Maryville.

Is this one going to Greenback?? They do need a running back. Still won’t help lack of blocking by the O line.

Loudon should get plenty of FG and PAT practice in this game. May have to ice his leg after this one.

Getting in shape now?? That horse left the barn already. It is hard to get in shape during the season. Poor planning and training over the summer and pre season!! They do have some cupcakes on the schedule. Maybe they can work on conditioning during those weeks.

Poor sunbright. Regardless of how many points they score this game is not going to help greenback solve the problems they have. Should be at the least 1-1. But it will make everybody feel good for a while.

Maybe if the boys that are actually from Greenback got to play more there would be a better effort on the field

When you look at the teams in this poll then you know 6 classes are too many.

Greenback goes to 0-2. Unless some Alcoa boys get mad and transfer in on Monday.

Greenback can’t block for the run or the pass. Defense is woeful! They can beat the teams in their district because those teams are very bad. Maybe should have gotten some linemen to transfer too.

Could be interesting when the greenback, Maryville, Blount county,Seymour, Monroe county,and Loudon team play the Meigs and Rhea county team
