I think they had a few starters out including the QB. Monterey beat up Rockwood, Oneida beat Monterey. Rockwood beat up Oneida. If Rockwood is close to 100% Hampton will have to play a good game to win. Rockwood will probably have the speed advantage so Hampton will need to tackle good in space. I think this game could go ether way but I’m leaning towards Rockwood at home.

Not all Meigs fans posted about our defense, but I will say I think Meigs has one of the better defenses in 2A and I think the Tyner game was good for Meigs. Until that game there was not much challenge, and it took the first half to figure out that they were going to have to play to win. And I promise you that them boys love to hit and will take a hit.

It was about the same. Meigs was up 22-0 at the half but was playing very consistently with I think 5 different players running the ball. They did the same in the second half and started getting subs in early. I’m interested in seeing if Marion in fully healthy, they scored more on Westmoreland than Watertown and TC combined they might get us all.

They scored 6 on the starters. How did they score 8 on Watertown? And how did Watertown only score 6 against Westmoreland? Scores mean nothing and every good team thinks they are better. I think there’s going to be two great games next Friday night, and I want be suppressed at any of the winners. But Meigs has proven to be the better team the last couple years so I will say they are the favorites.

I think Groves is a great player and he should go on to do good thing at the next level. But I will say this. Out of the 85 yards passing 70 of them came off the screen pass, so I would say that Hucklaby did a pretty good job against a D1 prospect.

I thought Hucklaby did a great job. I was really impressed when Groves had the big play and Hucklaby ran him down. I also thought Keyes had a good game with some good runs, taking some pressure off Carroll and Smith. What’s really funny is, I thought we might double Groves but It was the other way around, they had the safety shading to Hucklaby’s side almost every time.

This should be a great game, I wish I could see this one and be in Decatur to. I think Marion pulls out a close one. A good team is going home regardless.

I think the winner of region 3 and 4 will represent the East.

Meigs by 2 scores, there just really hard to stop on offense, with multiple weapons. And the defense will be the best TC has seen all year. Meigs and Marion to see who represents the East.

After looking at their schedule I thought this game would be close. Watertown only beat them 6-0

Hard to go by that. TC struggled with East Robertson 22-0 and Meigs was up 22-0 at the half. 4 good teams will be going at it next Friday and I believe one will be representing the East.

3-7 but it looks like they were in every game.

He’s that good. I watched him and the Rogers kid go at it at Bledsoe a couple years ago, it was a good matchup and he was just a sophomore. We don’t have anyone that can guard him one on one if he’s healthy.

I thought Meigs had the first ranked defense in 2A?

I saw him a couple years ago he was good then, I’m sure he’s even better now.
