Don’t know much about 1A but 2A looks ok, but 3A I would probably move some teams around and probably add Oak Ridge.

Good 4 quarter game tonight. Bradley just to big inside.

Upperman and Macon have been the stopping spot for Meigs the last few years, and probably this year to. Good teams and programs.

Are you serious are you just being funny? Fulton wouldn’t win in 3A 2A or 1A there’s 20 teams in 2A better than Fulton and Union is just bad. I hope you’re just being funny and don’t really believe that.

Ok so why would you say they are your favorite to win 1A when they have no chance? I’m really confused about your post.

What TSD school are you talking about? The only one I know of is the one in Knoxville that went 2-19 last year.

I think a lot of teams will improve when teams can start playing a consistent schedule, including OR. OR always have a good chance to go because they have talent and good coaching. Thanks for the info.

Based on what a couple coaches said that have seen all three teams play. 1 Farraugt 2 Bearden 3 Maryville. Oak Ridge has a good team but I think they are a little behind those three along with Bradley. But I will say I haven’t seen Oak Ridge play this year, but I know Stone beat OR pretty handedly, and Maryville beat Stone and lost by 2 the second game. It could be anyone off these teams by the end of the season.

At this point in the east. 1A North Greene, Cloudland, Tellico. 2A Northview Academy, Granger, Alcoa or Meigs. 3A Farragut, Bearden, Maryville. Oak Ridge can sneak in there. I think some of this can change if teams can start playing on a regular schedule and get in a rhythm.

I would probably put Hampton in before Monterey.

I agree with you 100%. Just have a feeling it’s going to cost the kids a season in the end. I hope I’m wrong.

I don’t think basketball is causing the numbers to skyrocket. I think we all know what’s causing that. Just look at your big stores, drive though Gatlinburg and you will see a high % of people not warning a mask.

And that’s not good. If we have anything spike it could cause basketball session to come to an end.

Probably need to throw Tellico in there in the east. They just need to play better competition in the regular season to get ready for tournament time.

I truly hope the kids can safely keep playing, but here in east TN, a lot of the problem is the kids are testing positive and are spreading it to coaches and teachers and taking it home to their families. That’s why so many schools in this area had to shut down basketball. I just think some of the kids are positive but don’t have any symptoms, so they don’t even know they are spreading it. With that being said I have no idea what the answer to this, but I do see the argument from both sides.
