We're going to out number you at the point of attack. Mustang offensive line has played very well so far this season. We're not huge but we move pretty well. We haven't showed much so far cause we haven't had to. We actually throw the ball very well. Our receivers are fast and athletic. Our QB has a cannon. He's a true duel threat player. We generally score every 4 or 5 plays.

Man we are always fired up to get to play a fine team like Cornersville. We've played a lot of big-time games at Paul Ward stadium. We've won a bunch and lost some big ones to. But the bottom line is we live for games like this!

Great concession stand. Happy school. Grandson goes there and I've always been impressed with everything about Trinity.

Big win for the Falcons. Moved the ball well especially out of the wildcat. West Carroll is big time slow, couldn't run outside on Lake Co. War Eagle offense lacked any imagination and didn't threaten Lake Co. Lake Co hasn't seen any speed yet. Hope they get to experience it!

Lake Co is a very talented team and should win. My question is whether they can play a clean enough game to win. Every time I saw Lake Co play last year they should have won but didn't. Just made to many mistakes to beat a solid team. If Lake Co can play a clean game they can play with anybody. Y'all still doing all those on-side kicks?

Man I didn't know athletes ran the 40 yd dash at track meets.

I'm not complaining going to see West Carroll vs Lake Co Friday night then see Peabody vs Trinity next Friday.

Lots of difference in sophomores vs juniors. Huntingdon normally plays very few sophomores but last year was an exception. #9 played safety and wide receiver last year and was exceptional. Started his first game ever playing QB this year. I'm very high on this kid. May be one of the best to ever play at Huntingdon. Great size and speed and can flick the ball 60 yds. Our RBs are as fast as last year's guy and they give us 3 option in the backfield that can take it to the house at any time. I think we're a better team than last year and should be even better next year. Hopefully we're better than a quarter final team this year.

They played like crap the first half of last season then closed strong. May be the case this year!

Maybe we could call it a JV game and bring the starters. Think we could get by with that?

I don't know if TSSAA would let us play 11 games. We could try to sneak it in!

Silver ball in 2012 shoulda been gold. Stripes got us again. As far as winning a gold ball this year it's stupid to say it's an epic failure if the Mustangs don't win it all. Greenback, Cornersville, South Pitt, Whitwell and Lake Co are very talented teams. 1a is as strong this year as I have ever seen it. I hope we go all the way but it's gonna be a tough road to travel. We just want to compete and play as many of these fine teams as we can. Gonna be fun win or lose.

That's my plan. Hope it works out. I'll go ahead and place my order. 3 whole fish with some of those wonderful onion rings!

Thanks for the memories guys. Been a pleasure watching this bunch of young men play the game the last six years.

Man Wayne Co gave us all we wanted last night. Everybody talking how good we are are not Huntingdon fans. Our defense is suspect, giving up a lot of points. Huntingdon plays Thursday night. Lake Co better show up or the Huntingdon will out number y'all. Better fill up the concession stand.

Mustang defense has given up some points this season our defense is young starting just two seniors. Losing 76 on defense really hurt. He's in my opinion the best defensive tackle in West Tennessee. We're playing well in the 2nd half but not putting a whole game together.

I concede. Both programs amoung the best in the state. Don't know why we can't do an home and home with South Pitt. We travel pretty well. I'm gonna talk it up on my end. It's amazing how good my Mustangs have done considering how tough a schedule we play year end and year out.

This game was for the # 1 seed in the region. Wayne Co was not going to go down without a fight. Great play calling kept the Mustang defense off balance the whole first half. Huntingdons speed was to much for the Wildcats as we pretty well scored at will. When the defense finally got a few stops it was all over. Wayne Co did a super job of controlling the ball in the 1st half. Huntingdon only ran 2 offensive plays the 1st quarter. Thanks to Wayne Co for giving us a scare by playing the Mustangs a tough , physical game. We needed this!

Huntingdon 30 spots better than Greenback that's crazy. We're good I don't know about being this good. Afraid the the 2a talk ain't just talk. Huntingdon fans have never wanted to play 1a. It's cost us some balls on the past. We're close to 400 students now so I feel like we'll move up regardless of whether we meet the 20 percent mark or not. I don't think it's smart to move up but playing in Reg 7 2a next season sure would be fun.

If you lived in west Tennessee you'd know about us. We've played a lot of years as one of the smallest 2a teams in the state. Played up when we could have played down. According to Huntingdons official program our record since 1930 is 626 wins, 265 losses, 17 ties. Who can top us?
