Pass D is something to be concerned about because Page got their best receiver back #11 last week. HC doesn't see many high powered pass offenses like Page. They play a lot of really good teams that are run heavy.

No, this is ridiculous. He will probably get it turned around, but even if he doesn't, can't take away what he did at Maryville. He wasn't just a CEO manager head coach. He was probably the best play caller in the state.

It's honestly not that big of a gap. This year Blackman has more talent on paper when it comes to D1 recruits. Oakland had more talent in 2014 and it felt almost like a state championship getting to play Maryville. Now, they are expected to beat Maryville year in and year out. They have a great combination of talent and coaching. Blackman and Riverdale have talent and average to good coaching.

I agree with you on a lot of things, but Creasy is just a better head coach than McDaniel. This is nothing to be ashamed of because Creasy is arguably the best head coach in the state. Oakland should not be this much better than all of the other Ruco schools, but they are, and he's a big reason for that. In 8 years, he isn't lost to a county team which is just unbelievable. I doubt if McDaniel were still the head coach he would not be on and eight year run where he hasn't lost to another school in the county. It does seem you have some sort of relationship with McDaniel.

And this was supposed to be a "rebuilding" year for Oakland. If Blackman couldn't even make it close in a year that they have a big senior class and more college recruits then Oakland, they will never close the gap as long as Creasy is there.

They are better than Springfield. Page is a lot more complete than they were last year. The QB is not as good as the one last year, they are better everywhere else. Last year Page couldn't stop HC's run game and HC couldn't stop Page's pass game. HC is also 3-10 against Williamson County Schools since 2015, can they make it 4-10? I think home field will be the difference and they pull it out.

Hopefully they add a team to 7 like Overton or somebody. It will be a very tall task for Ravenwood and Brentwood to find six non-region games

This might be the hardest game to pick all year. Both have been so good. I thought Page might drop off a little after last year, but they may even be better this year because they can actually run the ball his year. I'll go with Nolo at home.

I agree that it is concerning that he loses a lot of assistants each year. I disagree about the talent statement. Do they have talent? Yes. Every RUCO team is going to have talent. They do not have more than Blackman, Riverdale, Smyrna, or even Rockvale consistently. I'm not going to say Middle School ball is irrelevant, but a lot of things change from High School to middle. Especially, during this transfer era. They are 1-4, but have played REALLY good teams. Their win against Franklin was good even though Franklin is 0-5, they have played some REALLY good teams close. Almost beating Blackman is a good sign.

Summit has almost no offense. They will probably get last in the region. Blackman by a good margin, or at least it should be. 35-14

2015 Brentwood was rebuilding so that wasn't a shock. 2019 was a shock. I think they're pretty close this year

Interesting game. HC is supposed to be loaded with talent and experience. Brentwood's defense is one of the best in the state. Their offense isn't what it usually is because they don't have the passing game they normally have. I'm going to take Brentwood in a very close low scoring game.It wouldn't surprise me if I'm wrong. This is the year for HC to improve their not so good record against Williamson County Schools.

Franklin's defense is decent, but they struggled against Page. I thought the new OC for Riverdale would make their offense better, but it's still not very good. Maybe after their game against Franklin last year, they overlooked Franklin? It looks like it's going to be Blackman O vs Riverdale D

Franklin outplayed them. They only had like 140 yards of offense against Franklin.

And Brentwood held them to 14 and Gallatin gave up 42. Brentwood isn't great because their offense isn't great right now because they are struggling throwing. I do think their defense will win them a lot of games and the offense will get better. They will be in the mix come playoff time.
