  1. I think he was referring to the Milan/Huntingdon game.
  2. Varsity final was 24 to 17 Peabody over Crockett JV final was 7 to 0 over Crockett. I wasn’t there for the Freshmen scrimmage so idk about it. Defense looked a bit sloppy. (not completing tackles) Offense looked good. (Didn’t show much) Kick teams looked great.
  3. They are saying the Delta version is worse and the shot doesn’t cover it. But I thought the Moderna did.
  4. Depends on who you are playing too.
  5. Peabody has averaged allowing 8 points a game. For the last three seasons. That is including all playoff games.
  6. I didn’t know there was a 7 on 7 today, but if Peabody lost that makes me feel good. It gives them a loss feeling before the season and shows them what their weaknesses are so they can improve. The players on this team have not lost a game in their high school career, so I hope this gets them ready so they can go get state again. Ok I’m done back to your 4A commentary
  7. They would be a dark horse IMO. no pun intended.
  8. Huntingdon might have a chance as well. You can never really count them out. In 1A they were third or fourth round every year. If they change it up a little more they might be in that game.
  9. McKenzie was a different team in the playoffs than they were at the start of the year in scrimmages. The first game we played was 2 or 3 touchdown spread. Their coach completely changed how they played ball mid year and was tough at the end of last year. McKenzie would be state champs last year if it wasn’t for a long field goal by Hicks. IMO
  10. Last three games Peabody has played Lake county has been wins for Peabody. 2014 was 55-14, 2015 was 53-16, and in our down year of 2016 the final was 28-6. I don’t think lake county has seen Trenton at their best. I think Trenton post Gibson county loss is a hard train to stop. That was 37 games ago and since Trenton averages 41 points a game and allows 8 on defense. On average they outscore opponents by 33. These numbers include playoff games and state title games. 2020 in 14 games the Tide scored 573 points with a sophomore QB and a Junior running back. Defense allowed 116 points. 2019 in 15 games the Tide scored 633 points and allows 120 on defense. 2018 in the 8 games after the Gibson County loss the Tide scored 305 allowing 44 on defense. In total thats 1,511 points on offense and allowing 280 in their last 37 games.
  11. Our line I would say is the biggest in total size I have ever seen in Trenton. That’s including all of the title years. The last 3 years I believe our line play has won almost every game. Just my opinion. They make huge holes on the offense and on defense they have QBs running for their lives lol
  12. I thought this was a cool picture as well.
  13. It will make Peabody look even better if we do beat Milan as a 4A instead of a 3A. My opinion
  14. Westview is at Peabody this year if that’s a closer game for you to see him.
  15. Covid rules say you can’t scrimmage any other teams yet.
  16. Henry County had no interest in that match up. Turned us down I think. From what I heard it would not benefit them to have a single A on their schedule. edit: I agree though. It would be fun to see how we stand against the big guys of Tennessee.
  17. Roll tide! Sounds like August got a little better.
  18. Well we will have sort of a measuring stick if Peabody meets McKenzie in round 4 through both playing Huntingdon. Although we know that playoffs change everything too. You know I have heard about how hard a lot of schedules are but nobody has mentioned Huntington’s. Milan, Westview, Peabody, McKenzie, Union City. That’s a rough lineup for any school.
  19. How many days till football season? I’m starting to get antsy.
