These "bad calls" cries from Riverside fans are funny, because if you watched the game on TCAs broadcast, they complained about calls against TCA or non-calls against Riverside literally the entire game. Who was right?

Agree on the TCA/USJ game. USJ may just have too much. However, I've seen those two and JC play this year and I think USJ and TCA are better than JC this year (despite JC's ranking). And JMO on the 9 gold balls.....too many. In DII A, only have 17 teams total? Half of the teams will make the playoffs and many with losing records. Means nothing really.

Curious why everybody seems to be picking Nashville Christina over Trinity? Trinity has the better record and seems to win the eye test also. Thoughts?

Mosely, IMO, is worth more than 10 points in a D2A game. Just look at what he did in the first quarter alone. If he stayed in the game, JC wins by 1 or 2 scores. TCA is also a very good team this year. If Mosely is out, I think TCA could make a run this year. D2A is pretty soft this year, so one of these teams likely goes all the way. JC with Mosely, TCA if he is out. JMO.

This game shouldn't be very close. FACS hasn't played anybody except JCS, and we all know how that went. If TCA doesn't win by 3 scores, TCA played a bad game.

Anything can happen of course, but anyone picking anybody for the gold ball other than USJ must not have seen them play this year, IMO. They are just too solid on both sides of the ball to not win a watered down D2-A.

What do you think is more important to them, the SEC Championship or the National Championship? In my example, with 3 losses, Alabama does NOT make the playoffs or get to play for a National Championship. If that doesn't make sense to you, then nothing will. Playoffs in high school SHOULD mean something like it did back in the day. Today making the playoffs means nothing. Congrats!

The same way it affects college and pro teams. Your overall record should mean something. If Alabama goes undefeated in the SEC but loses 3 non conference games, are they making the playoffs? No. That doesn't mean you can't lose a few games to better teams, but it does mean you should win the games you should win. If you don't OR if you just aren't quite good enough to win 50% of your games....you don't make the playoffs that year. Pretty simple and rewarding if you make it.

I think you should have to be .500 or better to play a playoff game. It needs to mean something.....

Halls hasn't beat anybody that is even considered decent and lost to a few teams that are average at best. MASE "might" be the real deal, but they haven't played anybody either. MASE by a bunch, but neither will be taking home a gold ball in December.

USJ will dominate St George. Likely another running clock like last week.

Historically, this game gets a lot of attention with plenty of back and forth on here. Both teams undefeated in region play. Where is everybody?

These things you mentioned happen at MOST high school football games. Nothing unique on McClellan rd.

Some combination of USJ, NCS and DCA. I don't see anybody else being able to play with these 3.

I've seen USJ play this year, have not seen JCS play this year. USJ is strong on both sides of the ball. People on here picking JCS may know something I don't, but I don't see this game even being that close. I got USJ by at least 2 TD's.

They actually have quite a few returning starters if I'm not mistaken. Can't be that young.
