  1. Tending to the run but have to respect the pass because of the receivers (multiple speed threats to turn that 5 yd route into a 50 yd gain)
  2. Should be a good one, could see it going either way.
  3. General, in seem to recall you all had a pair of nice middle school teams we played a few years back. Those boys should be juniorsand seniors now. Did they mostly stay there?
  4. Early success running in their first drive but stalled out. After that they became one dimension forcing the run which wasn't there. Look for them to open up with more pressing in second half and have better luck. They've not done much against a squad that up top this point had been a bit porous.
  5. Should be 24-0. Fayetteville has played best half all year (really only second good half they've played all season). Maybe a bad matchup for MC, I expected more out of their offense. In any case I'd like to revise my prediction
  6. Unless MC has multiple turnovers (unlikely) we're looking at MC many (probably 42), Fayetteville a few (like 13 with one of those when the game is already decided). At this point in the season. Maybe different towards the end of the year.
  7. I am afraid sir you are correct. There may be an attempt to start but it'll look like bball season last.
  8. Congrats to the young man and family

Eagleville by 4. A stretch with too many missed baskets under the goal where the ball just danced around the rim and back out did Fayetteville in. Not sure how many he had (or what his FG % was) though. Eagleville seemed to me a better team last year although I've not seen a lot of them.

Close game unless one team loses composure. I see Fayetteville keeping McLaren mostly under control (low to mid 20's) and coming away with a 4 pt win.

I think fayetteville played a different opponent?
  12. lol, I think that comment is the straw man argument (admittedly haven't read all the thread so maybe h20 comment refers to something else I missed). You can have multiple individual or team factors... speed v size, great running attack v passing, offense v defense, etc. They're not mutually exclusive but you can have a preference. In that line of reasoning I'll take the coachable player over the athlete (and hope I get a few that are both).
  13. Where would I find the complete list and thanks.
  14. Yeah, lots of young talent. Not sure about next year but the following they should be in force.
  15. From what I've read the GB folks are handling it sportingly, no excuses or whining. It's difficult to lose with grace but they seem to be doing a good job of it
  16. Lake County until I hear/see otherwise.
  17. Don't know anything about SP fans other than what I've read here. But what you describe is disappointing. Unfortunate. Guess there's one in every crowd, just don't want it to be the crowd.
  18. Congrats to LC on the win, no doubts they were the best in 1A this year.
