QB raised in the system. Knows it better than anyone else on the roster. Why would he not be the QB. He has greatly improved in the last year.

Smart kids who are good students are kind of like football players .... Yes they need a good teacher / coach to guide them BUT ultimately their trajectory has a lot more to do with genetics and parents than who ends up teaching / coaching them.... Ever heard the phrase "can't coach big" or "can't fix stupid"? Your ceiling is your ceiling and if your kid struggles to read at a 7th grade level or do simple math, and can't work with his hands - well Parent that's YOUR fault - either by way of genetics or because YOU did't help them gain the skills due to lack of practice and guidance at home.

Creasy out coached Dilfer - watch the 4th quarter of the game. * There are many more you could cite BUT ultimately all you have to do is ask any actual high school coach (not some slappy who volunteered here and there for 5 minutes) who has played him and they will tell you how good he is. That is ALL the respect any high school coach could ask for - and Creasy is highly respected by people who actually KNOW football.

And the 2nd game with Riverdale? Who had the best talent in each of those games? Was the 56 point shut out because of talent or coaching? I don't think it matters who you play - only how you play. Houston played great in championship - Oakland did not. That's pretty much the answer no matter how you slice it.

I don't know - He is pretty entertaining to be around and is a really likable dude - Kids love him and so do parents. People on here have accused him of recruiting for years so if that's really the case then he should fit into that role nicely. I think the reason he has been so successful is because of his ability to adapt. I think sometimes people think college coaches are larger than life, but most of the time they are just really good football coaches who work really really hard and end up with an opportunity.

Football is Football and Coaches are Coaches - He can do it and would do it well. AD says he wants someone with a huge personality and who can get the community to buy in again - Murfreesboro would get behind Creasy. I like it.

Whether he plays or not will not change who wins this game. That is what I meant by if he doesn't play Oakland will adjust accordingly because of the state of their program.

You are reaching for hope of him not playing..... like my dad always said "you can hope in one hand and crap in the other and see which one fills up faster". The biggest difference between Oakland and Blackman is that Oakland has a great PROGRAM every year - Blackman has a great team this year. They will adjust accordingly should their QB not play.

Oakland is averaging 50 points a game so far this season and against better defenses than Blackman is putting on the field so far this year..... I think Blackman is better for sure than they were but not nearly as good as Ravenwood. I have Oakland scoring at least 56 and Blackman at 35.

They had Blackman beat and went away from the offense that kept them in it and went spread instead late in the game...... Looks to me like they are getting better though.

He is AWESOME!! Not sure he would interested in at age 80…. But he is definitely worth his weight in gold!
