Can't say I was impressed with either team's performance in their first week. Fulton beat up on an Austin East that is going through a lot off the field and Central's play was inconsistent against Greeneville. I do think depth will be the main course in this match up. Any time two teams in different classifications play each other even more so in a rivalry game like this, the big question is depth. If Fulton is playing as many guys as yall say both ways they will struggle in the second half. Throw the records out of the window this will be about depth and who wants it most. I'm going to the Red Bank/Ooltewah game but I am very interested to see how this match up plays out. Winner should get the key to Buddy's BBQ on Broadway for the next year. Good luck to both teams!
I'll be interested to see how this goes. I think OR has the edge in this one. Bearden's offensive unit is still figuring some things out. Went to the West/Bearden game last week and West just plain whipped Bearden's offensive lineman. Bearden's defense has had decent performances in the preseason both last week at West and in the Jamboree vs Powell. OR didn't play very well against SD but Coach Ellison will undoubtedly make some changes. Good luck to both teams!
I think Pearl Cohn has this one, they've had a strong year and any time I've seen them play in years past they're physical all that being said, sometimes it's tough to beat the same team twice in one year.
I like Meigs in this one. That QB is a dynamo. I think South Greene will play their hearts out but that Meigs QB is something else. Every round at this point is whoever wants it most though.
I think this will be a good one. Hampton has been having a stellar year after dropping their opener. I caught the Unaka game and goodness gracious Hampton wore them plum out. It will be interesting to see how Oneida plays them. The playoffs is all about who can play well when its cold. Best of luck to Oneida and Hampton.
