  1. Beast of teams in AA… not the best. Good luck this week
  2. Creekwood is a team to watch…They have wins over Loretto & Summertown which are beast of teams in AA. Have a great player and 4 good role players. Could get Hot at right time.
  3. Great assessment! They grind it out on you. Have a good PG and a couple of good post players. Play hard nose defense and are well coached.
  4. Just finished watching last night’s game…WOW!! Great game & great win GC. The PG match up was amazing. Micah put GC on her back and led them to State. Campbell maybe the quickest PG I’ve watched this year. Major play by 2 Sophomore PG. Future looks bright for GC & Summertown for next couple years. Best of luck to GC in Murfreesboro next week!! Summertown should hold their heads high.. classy program with greats coaches and ladies!! I may rewatch game it was that good!!!
  5. McKenzie lost sub-state at home last year, but MC is no Loretto. McKenzie is #1 team in A (IMO) and win big Saturday. Safe travels to MC but be ready to get after it.
  6. Creekwood good team. Beat Loretto and Summertown by3 at home. Burgess off on offensive end tonight but she’s a player!! They will be in Murfreesboro
  7. Creekwood wins by 3. Weathers girls made it a game till end. Surprisingly Loretto pull off press in 2nd half after turning over Creekwood 9 times in 1st half. Big win for Creekwood and I would say good loss for unbeaten Loretto. Tournament time and best of luck to All!!
  8. Creekwood leads Loretto by 10 at half. Burgess/Weathers matchup a good one!
  9. WV dominated tonight!! Impressed for sure, and a WV/Loretto match up in Murfreesboro would be a great game. Similar teams. Looking forward to a great postseason!
  10. We’ll said pioneer! Got to adjust in tournament time. McKenzie loaded and still team to watch. Westview/Loretto match up in Sub-state would be epic!!!
  11. I would say you are spot on with your picks. McKenzie is team to beat in Murfreesboro IMO.
  12. Loretto team to beat in AA!! Summertown vs. Westview/GC In SubState match up could be a toss up. All teams must take care of business to get there, but would be some great games. Almost Tournament time!!
  13. BIG win Loretto!! Tough 4 game week. Favorite in AA for sure!!
  14. Look gassed for sure. Taking lead into half is good sign. Karly being defended closely and still has 13. Special player she is!! She’s not getting foul calls in MS, but still producing. Expect Loretto to win by 10+
  15. Great game!! Loretto is legit. Great team effort against a very scrappy Summertown team. Loretto by far the favorite in AA at this point IMO. They will match up well with either Westview or GC, and Karly gives them the upper hand. Enjoyed the Barn and an amazing rivalry game. Best of Luck Loretto & Summertown and stay healthy!!
  16. Loretto by far the best team! Summertown better team last season. Loretto brought home gold ball last season and congratulations! Loretto must concentrate on stopping PG Campbell to beat Summertown 4 times this season. They did in 1st meeting and will need to continue throughout season and tournaments. Summertown has best chance to beat Loretto because they will play 4+ times this year. Burdette down low is key, but need PG to be free to utilize her. Karly is the difference maker, but if Campbell speeds up pace they will give them a game. Loretto should win at Home by 15+, but not a safe bet. Can’t wait to make 2.5 hour trip to watch!! Looking forward to experiencing the Barn tomorrow!!
  17. Yes I did! Enjoyed a great atmosphere. Great to watch a great rivalry game with no drama. I was impressed to say the least!! Loretto has a great fan base and they show up. I was impressed with how Summertown fan base traveled. Both Summertown teams appear to be a little behind Loretto right now, but it’s TOURNAMENT TIME!! Best of luck to both teams!!
  18. GC & Summertown have great pedigrees!! Love watching both programs play!! Class acts!
  19. Great game!! What a WAR! Had my doubts that I had wasted a long trip east early as it looked like a blow out, but man what a game. Loretto blew an early 20+ point lead then battled from behind to get a huge win. Loretto’s bench play was huge down the stretch! #20 nailed a huge 3 and knocked down free throws late to seal it. Summertown showed me a lot of grit and heart to battle back to take the lead but just couldn’t hold on. They are a good team missing a great player to ACL injury. They are capable of beating any team in class A, but it will be very difficult for them to run the table in Murfreesboro with just a 6 player rotation. IMO. Best of luck to Loretto and Summertown going into tournament time!!
  20. Interested to see what happens in Summertown/Loretto rematch.... Schedule shows Tuesday night in Loretto. Game doesn’t mean much, but should be a WAR!! Both are good teams, but not at Greenfield level yet. IMO. Hope to travel east again Tuesday to see what the Barn atmosphere is all about. I definitely enjoyed game 1 at the EAGLE NEST!!
  21. She is a great player!! Does a lot of little things that go unnoticed. I’ve enjoyed watching her for the past years. Great kid with a will to win!! Paving a great path for her little sister, and yes she’s a game changer!! Congratulations Tess!!!!!
  22. Yes they only played 6. Talked to a couple Summertown folks and they said Campbell was the motor for their team. Great players are hard to replace, but looks as if the other young ladies stepped up their game in her absence. That’s what good teams must do. Also I was informed that they have called up a couple of 8 graders that can play and will be contributors come time for post season run. Be interesting to see where they are 3 weeks from now!!
  23. Glad I traveled east to watch the Summertown/Loretto matchup. Loretto looked sluggish and out of sync. Summertown’s point guard controlled the game from tip-off. Half-court defense by Summertown was very good! What an AMAZING gym and atmosphere!! Better watch out for this team, started a Freshman, Sophomore, and 3 Juniors. Great Team win for Summertown!!
