I heard very little as to what happened to Clinton's field Thursday night. Can anyone elaborate?

I wouldn't say Clinton fans showed much class after they tore down a goalpost at Blankenship last night....

Oak Ridge won 1-0 on a goal from Thomas Mihalzo in the 2nd half. I wasn't there, but from what I heard Diego was playing, but he was doing a lot of limping.

His knee was taped up after the game, but I heard he should be good to go for Sullivan South on Friday.

Not quite sure of his name, but #14 for Oak Ridge should definitely be mentioned among the top juniors. He's a red headed kid who seems to be able to kick the ball a mile.

Ryan "Sir Wils" Wilson is defintely one of the best goalies around. He was all-state as a sophomore at Oak Ridge and made some incredible saves. Big ups to "Sir Wils."

As much as it kill me to say it, I think White Station is clearly the better team. I'll be in Murfeesboro praying for an upset though.

Well considering Oak Ridge already beat Red Bank by 21 I have a hard time believing they are the best in east TN.

As an Oak Ridge fan, I haven't seen a single team show less class than Bearden did. Even Clinton, who we have a bitter rivalry with (football, anyone) didn't say anything to the fans. That is just unacceptable in my opinion.

Did anyone else think that Beardens players, especially Simpson, showed absolutly no class? Gabe from Bearden also acted like he was cocking a gun to the Oak Ridge crowd.

Oak Ridge decided to play defence.

Oak Ridge will score on Bearden the same way they have on everyone else. Bearden has weak guards that will make turnovers when they are hit with the press, and OR will capitalize. IF Bearden can manage to get past halfcourt, they shouldn't have a problem feeding it to their big men in the paint, but I still think OR will win this game by 8-10.

Since when does Seymore need to work it inside? That kid can shoot the lights out. If Powell gets hot, they have a strong chance to win this game. If they are anything other than absolulty on fire, I expect Maryville.

And what about the other 12 people on Powell's team...? That could have been a devastating mistake for Powell if Oak Ridge had gotten a good look. Also, Oak Ridge did play with Stephens and Rogers, although Stephens isn't 100%, his hand still does hurt him. I heard Powell hit 15 threes. It's hard to lose when you are that hot.

I would love to see the stat sheet from the game, Powell seriously must have shot like 70% behind the arc. Oak Ridge hasn't really played to their full potential the past 3 games and Powell couldn't have played better. GG One thing that confused me....did the Powell coach not know that you can't run the baseline after a dead ball? It seems like a pretty elementary mistake for a varsity high school coach. Had Oak Ridge gotten a bit lucky, they could have closed that game before it hit OT.

Jared Stephens should be a contender imo. He turns a strong Oak Ridge team into a state contender. The only issue would be the fact that he has been out for a few weeks due to an injured hand, but he will be back in time for the post season. He creates plays on offence and can shut down nearly any other guard on defence. (i.e Jordan Damron)

Looks pretty accurate for the time being, I have a hard time imagining Oak Ridge could beat Maryville or Bearden right now without Stephens or Rogers. Once those two are back though, look for Oak Ridge to be on top of the polls once again.maha.

Hopefully Oak Ridge can hold on without him until he gets back for the postseason.

You are right, Maryville brings in a HUGE student section....but they do not say a single word the entire game. In both of my experiences of watching games at Maryville, their student section stood up for the first half, and then most of them left before the 3rd quarter was over. Lame. Anyway, my vote for best student section would have to go to Karns or Oak Ridge, both bring a lot of people to their games who actually make noise.

Coffey is out for good, he violated a contract that he had with the coaches. Even without him, Oak Ridge should win this one by a decent margin, especially if they play like they did against Red Bank.

Stephens is one of the strongest point guards in the East. Too bad his size will probably prevent him from playing anywhere major in college, because that kids got talent. Peace,
