I don't think he is underrated. I am from West Tennessee, so I have to look at his stats and any video clips that are posted online or social media. He's a player for sure! I think the most underrated kids are from my area. It's going to be some good games

So I have just went back and read every post on thus thread. A few people on here had to eat crow I see. Page goes upset in OT. The coasting road wasn't as easy as some thought. It's the post-season, anything can happen. Don't crown them too fast. This shut made the region and substate picture a little more interesting.

I think that is a live ball if there is room between the baseline and the backboard and it doesn't touch any obstructing object. I will ask one of me buddies

I have heard this about not just GC but other teams around the area. Westview not playing local quality opponents is not because the would be opponents didn't try. And i always thought film exchange was an option. I know in football the teams exchange but I don't think it's like that is basketball.

Both Westview and Gibson Co get home cooking home their home floors so that is to be expected. Jada is tough to guard for any team. Gibson Co will definitely need production from #34 and the other guard if they want to compete with Loretto and Westview in the post-season. Both of those coaches from what I have seen are about as good as it gets when it comes to working the officials. When I go to games I watch everything; teams, coaches, officials and fans.

I am a Jackson native and have a couple of buddies that work at Liberty. They only have about 400 kids now but even before that girls basketball had took a decline. Now they barely have enough girls for any sport. It's very disturbing to see them go from a powerhouse to the bottom in all sports.

Loretto is a good team and Karly Weathers is a great player. I have seen the top 4 in their region and right now 1 and 2 is them and Martin Westview. I watched some of a live feed from the game when they played South Side and that was a pretty good game, could have went either way. Seemed like South Side had a slow start and then I have heard that calls were questionable toward the end. Nevertheless, Loretto is good.

I've just heard that name mentioned by a few people I know over that way. Again these are just predictions. Also, just read on TSSAA that Arlington is set to appeal their postseason ban, I forgot about that.

Yea, and that's crazy because the "stars" are usually just like the pros and get all the calls. Great career ahead of her, so I hope she is indeed ok. That was for sure a foul.

This was my exact thought as well as what @dmm88 said about attacking Barr who was in early foul trouble. McKenzie's guard play is ok, but they are in trouble if a team has a good inside game. I don't think they were rattled, but Westview's defense didn't give them many open looks.

It was in response to her being 5'8, not that you have to be a certain height.

So Hardin and McNairy are the best two teams on the other side, I'll have to check their schedules out. Didn't Hardin go to state last year? If South Side plays defense like they did Friday, they will have a good chance down the stretch.
