I don't even think she's that tall. I don't see her playing either. But, it's every girls dream to be a Lady Vol. Congrats!

I read that South Gibson had really good defense but it looked like they may have typed it wrong. South Side played a really good defensive game. They did not allow South Gibson to shoot comfortably or get many easy points. I don't know the percentage, but I didn't see a lot of jump shots go in for South Gibson. However, #1 from South Side caught fire in the 4th quarter and helped stretch the lead. South Side looks pretty good and I hear that these two will play for the district championship and possibly region. How does the other district compare?

Bartlett is definitely not the team that its hyped up to be. Calls are always iffy in GC, but they are well coached and play hard. 10-1 foul count is awful, no matter how undisciplined Bartlett was, GC was fouling too. Looked like Bartlett though they was just going to walk in there and run away with GC, but that will never happen in that gym. They are one of the best teams in the state for a reason no matter the class. That was a good non-district win for GC and maybe a humbling experience for Bartlett. They both have enough to make the trip in March.

I'll take Pickett by 5, Loretto by at least 20 and South Side by at least 12

This was a really good game and I can only imagine what it will be like at Westview. Gibson did not play as well as I have seen them play in the past, just looked blah at times. #22 for Westview is going to be one of the premier guards the next few years. She has very good ball skills and shoots the ball well. Of course, Jada Harrison is a big time prospect for a reason, she knows how to control the game and make the necessary plays. She did miss a lot of easy looks that she would normally make, but her presence alone makes the difference. #42 for Westview did her job in the paint and that was enough. I'm sure the next game will be even more exciting. Both coaches will make adjustments so they may look like two different teams

Oh ok. I just looked and I see Chester, Hardin, McNairy and Lexington are together and South Side, North Side Liberty and South Gibson. That's interesting.

I have been hearing that Hardin County is pretty good, if that is true that is a big win for Bolivar. I believe that district is Bolivar, Hardin, Chester and McNairy. Who wins that?

These are my exact thoughts. The keys are, "The Others", turnovers and rebounds. The Harts will be as always. Harrison and Sims will do the bulk of the work for Westview, but what do the others do for both teams? Who controls the glass and who wins forces the most turnovers. This will be epic.

I agree. I have always wondered how they rankings were made because strength of schedule and opponents does not seem to matter

Now that I have went to the North Side page and looked, I do know, but when I asked I didn't. I agree, if Northcutt can get a group to hang around and be willing to takes some bumps and bruises they will be fine in a few years.

That game was definitely worth the admission. Two young teams battling to the buzzer.

They never do. They look for the good record and high ranks. Will not schedule tough opponents

This was not a school related incident. It was an issue between two people that were no longer students at either school. Sad thing is a life was loss and 2 people were injured that were innocent bystanders. People need to leave or settle their personal business at home on their own time in stead of endangering others.

Based on this post where are the quality wins? These "rankings" should consider strength of schedule sometimes.
