Creasy would not consider a game with 48 hours to prepare. He is too calculating with opponents. Folks, this isn’t like youth league football.

I have no dog in the hunt, and both of these programs are great…..but Maryville owns Alcoa. Nothing to be ashamed of, just plain old truth.

So Alcoa and Maryville have met 14 times under the Rankin regime. If my math is correct, Alcoa has won 3 and Maryville has won 11. I would say that would be dominance.

Didn’t the coach that Rankin replaced win two State Championships?

I think coach Rankin is a very good high school football coach, but even as a Riverdale fan I would have to agree that Maryville has owned him.

I think that Blackman supporters will give him more than a chance. As for those who root for other programs in the county (Riverdale), we look forward competing against him.

If the principal loved the coach from CR, should you have made this hire. Heck, when you look at the win /loss record of test guy she hired, many both black and white coaches had better records.

Starting next year, I would say Ron Crawford will be in the mix as the best Assistant Coach.
