I am not sure if Bama has passed or not but I do know UK wants him bad. Kids are different now. They want to play right away and he probably would their. Maybe the most important thing that has changed recruiting now is the NIL and although Bama has more money than UK but look on how many they have to pay other top recruits and he probably make more at UK earlier than Bama.

I agree I think this will be a great game. I have seen Trenton play multiple times and they are definitely a championship caliber team again this year. From what I’ve seen and read online McKenzie seems to be as well. Both teams have big time players. Good luck to both teams as well.

Yes, last year Pope hurt us and I think we keyed on him this year and the other guys hurt us this year. Well rounded team for sure.

Y’all’s O line are big and good. They may be athletic but your skill players are good as well and can match up with anyone. I think HC takes care of business and moves on to second round.

I like the formula from last night. No turnovers, pound the rock, solid defense and sound on special teams and I like our chances.

I think both teams would like a win and have some momentum going into the playoffs. I would feel better if this game was in Milan. North Side being at home and playing for a home playoff game will be playing with a little more intensity than normal I would think. Milan is going to have to match that intensity. I believe if Milan can play a clean game no turnovers little to no penalties and eliminate big plays then they have a good chance to pull it out. If not then it will be a hard game.

But that is why a pole is a good discussion topic. Everyone has an opinion and can make a good case for their opinion. We can agree to disagree.

I would by no means have Milan near a pole with their collective play all year on the field. But if you are a good 1a team that has lost to better teams then they should not be penalized by that. What about Trenton? Who have they beat besides Westview by this logic? Maybe they were lucky by beating Westview and then they have no good wins. But I don’t believe that because I have seen how they have played and they are deserving to be in the poles.

This is what is wrong with most polls. It doesn’t matter who someone has played or how good they are. You see the losses and assume they don’t deserve it. Even at the college level most of the ones voting don’t know how good all the teams are and are biased on record or their area. When you say no disrespect most of the time you are disrespecting them.

Yes. They have to be disciplined and do their assignment against that offense.

I agree. They are fast but I don’t see them breaking long runs for tds with Trentons speed in secondary. They will have to methodically run the ball down the field and that will be tough on y’all’s defense.

You would think Trenton will be ready to play a competitive game but will it take them awhile to get going since they haven’t been pushed since when LC?
