  1. Crazy thing is Huntingdon’s best player got hurt in the summer and won’t take a snap this year but I haven’t seen it used once as a crutch
  2. Ya'll Henry County fans are so sensitive lol. I was referring to anyone in smaller classifications. I'd still put money on Haywood though
  3. Milan is a great team. Haywood would trample Huntingdon and any other team in West TN. Milan is big and very athletic. Hard for me to say Huntingdon is favored in this one.
  4. The way Union City and Huntingdon operates their offense, it's hard to single out 1 work horse. They've both got several guys that could be a one man show somewhere else.
  5. I’m not sure if the years match up but maybe someone can help me out. is Moore County’s stud QB the good freshmen receiver they had the year they beat Huntingdon in the playoffs?
  6. I remember MAHS had a really good soph last year. Is he playing for MASE?
  7. Yes for sure. SG’s line is bigger and more physical
  8. We all know what Huntingdon will try to do. SG had a lot of success with their running attack against Milan but ran out of time. I would compare Huntingdon to that style but with better misdirection and better athletes running the ball.
  9. I understand! It always about match-ups, not necessarily who may be better. To me, Trenton matches up the physicality with what Huntingdon wants to do. They also have a better QB than can test the undersized DBs of Huntingdon. Milan had trouble containing SGC's run game. But to your point, I am in no means talking down or bad about Milan, they are a great team.
  10. You may retract that statement about Peabody now that they are starting to get healthy. I believe Milan is a better matchup for the Stangs than Peabody.
  11. No doubt. Huntingdon will be a tough out in the playoffs
  12. I didn’t mean to sound that way. I apologize. UC is a great team and in my opinion the best in 2A
  13. Sounds like you are projecting your own concerns and insecurities about Huntingdon bud
  14. Don't let a couple of Huntingdon posters make you all think that. Yeah we don't make it as far as we would like every year, but not many teams do. We are never the biggest, fastest, strongest team, but we will be competitive and win a lot more than we probably shouldn't. We are also never the "self proclaimed" state champions. That gets thrown around here on the T from year to year, but it isn't always the Huntingdon posters. Yet we get trashed around on here by everyone. We ran into a better MAHS team with a lot of seniors and lost by a point. We will work and try to be better next year.
  15. I don’t know the kid personally, but I did watch a video on YouTube where he talked about knowing he wont go down there and start day 1. Taking the “Mac Jones approach” as he calls it. It’s true. Learn from the best and set your self up to light it up for one year and your set for life. Smart kid.
  16. His son was already committed to Bama before he even took a snap in 2A. Not sure what more exposure he would need lol
  17. Hats off to the QB for Hampton. That kid is a baller. Tough, smart, patient runner. Could sling it if needed. And came up hard and made perfect tackles on defense. Not to mention his demeanor and body language were impressive.
  18. Does anyone know when Mr Football voting has to be turned in? Do they vote again once the finalists are trimmed down to 3?
  19. You’re 100% correct brother. #2 is a stud! You could tell once their nerves settled they were wayyyyyy hungrier than McK. That DLine especially was even pumping me up lol
  20. Hard to watch indeed. However the Coach on the NFHS Stream was complaining to the refs to "let them play ball!" Wow lol
