Just calling it like it is, if Blake was half the coach the clint was we wouldn't be having this conversation. Stop trying to cover up for him, he was soft when he played and He's soft now. Its softball season, and that's where he belongs in the coaching world! 316 have you talked to any players or coaches that's played or coached with Blake??? obviously not, because I have talked with a bunch of them, and they all say the same thing! you need to change your name because stone cold would not approve of your buddy system, he spoke the truth, and that's the bottom line!

I'd be trying to get a new coach instead of praying the portal is going to be booming. it's not the players, it's the coach not having them ready to play. They don't grind anymore like we use too. Hopefully they are hitting the weight room harder this year. Blake is lazy and definitely didn't get clints work ethic. we have had several teams with weak classes at TC, but they have always competed because they were some warriors. Clint didn't baby you and clint was the hardest working motivated coach ever, and his players followed him. Did we like it...NO, did we hate Clint at times... absolutely, did we respect him for making us MEN... absolutely! Did we love watching people lay down and melt when we were thumping their heads...absolutely! Come on Blakey Boy time to RTD... POUND THE ROCK... After the worse season in a half century, what is expected of the Yellow Jackets in 2023? Has there been any change? I heard that QB/RB Calhoun suffered a re injury of his shoulder in basketball? if so wishing him a speedy recovery and hopefully he will be 100% by August! I sure hope that the Purple and Gold can bounce back! Praying they get back to the old days of just out working everyone on a daily basis!

Creasys right hand man from Oakland applied that won 6 titles with him at TC and Oakland, Don't know if he's got a shot but he definitely should get an interview in my opinion. Hes a prodigy of Creasy and he knows Creasys Offense inside and out. only negative is he doesn't have football HC experience. But has been HS Baseball HC at Lebanon and brought them out of the dumpster very quickly being the district coach of the year there in one year, so that tells me he can handle a program. Was hoping that Trousdale was going to bring him back this year but obviously they are going to keep Clints son in the saddle. I'd love to see him at GHS and get a shot to bring the Wave back. Well its pretty easy if you ask me. Everyone I hear talking about it keeps saying the same name...Eric Vetetoe! I couldnt agree more! Hometown kid, lives right near elementary school, has a boy on the way up, and also has the resume to back it up. 3-6A Titles at Oakland and soon could be 4! 1-2A title at TC in 2013. Also was on side line in 09 with Creasy as student Assistant. 1- National Championship in College Baseball at Cumberland. Has also Coached Oaklands Freshman team the last 4 season and they have been 32-0 averaging 50+ points a game due to his Facebook page. All Im saying is, that is what you call earning a shot! That kid has never had anything given to him but always finds a way to come out on top! Hes a winner! on top of it he also has 100+ wins as a HC in baseball as well. And thats the bottom line Jackets316

No he was given those as well without earning. they gave him the talent so he would look like a great coach. best middle school years ever but they didn't win a state title in HS? That's the same kids he adopted when he got the high school HC. you can argue all you want but the fact is he has been given it all and has nothing to show. no gold except in middle school and the worst record since 50's.

Zero region championships and zero state championships. We are talking TC football... the expectation is state or bust. Semi's are great and definitely a team goal to be practicing on Thanksgiving but blowing 20-point leads in them in not the expectation here. speaking of back up QBs... i know the shockley kid is slinging it pretty good at Macon, and Blake told him the best thing he could do is learn to run our scout team. I think he has ran pieces off that should not have been. He ran his best lineman off too because he couldn't work around a two-sport athlete that just won a state championship as a soph. in wrestling. Also last year this game with Watertown was for the region championship and he took the week off leading into it. He also has zero involvement in the community. Youth league had to get his older brother to speak this year because he wouldn't. Just a great example of being give something you didn't earn! We like to call that DADDY BALL in today's world. I would like them to hire someone who's earned it, not given to them because their last name was Satterfield.

if so, it's only because dad is the DOS. you may see TC program get even worse if he stays another year. none of the players want to play for him. They will struggle to fill a team. If anybody else was coaching this team, they would have done been fired. He couldn't win when the talent level was oozing! I wonder if they took last week off. They did last year with the region championship on the line... and lost! I have heard lots of talk from the community and I'm pretty sure they are ready for a change and SO AM I!! I don't think it was a jab, it was facts! Vetetoe loves the purple and gold and is coaching youth football 4 days a week on top of coaching at Oakland. He has a Kid coming through and surely TC doesn't miss out again on him like they did Dobbs and his kids. We need someone to shake up everything that's happening in TC football program, and he has the relationships with everyone to make it happen in my opinion. someone mentioned he had baggage?? I disagree, we all know where he came from growing up and to be what he is simply amazing. Not a lot of Resumes match up with his. 5 state title in Football and has learned under Creasy, 100+ wins as a high school baseball coach, a National Championship in college baseball, and I'm sure more I don't know about.

your right.. doing now. Its week 5! He did Burma road last week for the first time all year and they like to have died. why do it week 4 if you aint done it in the summer. I've not heard a single person say a positive about Blake, not coaches that has coached with him, and players that's played for him. Also last week Monday was labor day.. no labor was put in. Tuesday was a walk through in street clothes? And we wonder why its bad?? Thats was last week vs Macon on homecoming week.

Thats a Lie! I know for a fact Vetetoe has applied for a job 3 times in the lst 5 years and cant even get an interview. The last two seasons hes tried to come back as the O.C and has been lied to by blake both times. Fact of the matter is that they are afraid that the last name satterfield may get out done if someone legit would get the job. Creasy would still be at TC if that wasnt the case! Feathers need to be ruffled in TC. Community, Coaches, Players and all that are involved should be ashamed. Blake doesnt put the work in needed, community doesnt support it like it used too, and players dont take pride in it like the old ones did. We need someone that will fire the community up and get back to the Most disciplined, hardest working, best conditioned team in the state. They need to take that down in the locker room until they really want to be about it,.wish them the best but its heart breaking to watch.

Well your HC is gonna be in softball and you lost two Hall of Fame former yellow jacket volunteer assistant coaches, so only two coaches left for spring ball?? Two coaches getting to run the team all off season but little to no input in the season. Based off of this statement 5-5/6-4 sound about right.

Not knocking phillip at all, great guy and i definatley appreciate his love for TC. All Im saying is if any other coach in the world has that job phillip isnt wearing a head set, nor is he coaching softball. again its the buddy buddy system that gets me. Like Randy Moss Says..CMON man..Its TC Football for crying out loud, We dont have the 3rd most titles in the state from the buddy system or politics.

The Program has fell because we have had outsiders who did not play here, nor knew what it was like to play at TC running our youth league programs and high school programs other than Blake (and there just simply isnt an excuse for him to be doing the things he's doing. Like being off the week before region championship and not practicing). The key is simple... We have always outworked everyone and that just isn't happening no more. The sign when you walked in Locker room said " Most Discliplned, most conditioned, hardest working football Team in the state of TN"....Thats as far from true as ive ever heard these days.. I mentioned about some assistants leaving and someone replied that happens..well you are correct, but those two assistant volunteers are legends at TC and would give their right arm to have that program running in the right direction. They are not out because that's what they wanted to do, they are out because Blake is Lazy and doesn't know how to be a head coach. Has trouble communicating with players and coaches, tries to be a one man show, has no discipline, the list goes on. If anybody else was coaching this team they would be fired on the spot if this was happening. Not to mention Phillip White is his assistant as well, like Phillip is a great dude but doesn't need to be coaching at that level. Just seems like a buddy buddy system these days. Must be a favor from when Clint got his collarbone broke against Station Camp.. If you know TC football well then you will know..lol Like Clint used to say.. this aint no Country Club.. well Clint sorry to tell ya but it is and your allowing it....sad to say but its true!

Im hearing that several coaches have told Blake that they would not be helping next year? Anybody know any truth to this? Also heard that Blake didnt ride bus home with kids after 4th round Hampton loss? I sure hope thats a rumor...
