Top 100 and TNAAU has grown so much that most schools arent able to host a top 100, even if the school is able to handle it they dont just let anyone host those. They are in the same locations every year, and we only have 3 top 100s.

Hey everyone just getting the word about my clubs upcoming Freestyle/ Greco season. Proceeds will go directly to our AAU and highschool prorgams. Storm Chasers Wrestling Club Who? Open to all wrestlers 7th grade and up with prior wrestling experience. Advanced younger wrestlers are welcome with coaches approval and an appropriate practice partner. When? Practice will start on March 19th, and conclude on June 18th. We will practice Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6. Where? Alcoa High School Wrestling Facility. 532 Faraday Street Alcoa, Tn 37701 Cost? $120 for the season/ $60 for monthly/ $10 single practice drop in. All wrestlers must have a USA card($45) before they can compete, if they just want to practice they can purchase an AAU card for ($20.) We will have an optional gear order the first week of practice. Coaching? Storm Chasers will be coached by former 4x Tn State champ, and multiple time All American, top 10 nationally ranked Alcoa alumni Sammy Evans. Why? The “off-season” is the time to really improve your wrestling skills, and off-season wrestlers turn into winter champions. The biggest improvements I made in wrestling are when I started wrestling during the “off-season.” Competition?We will have the option to compete in the Tn Ironman, Freestyle/Greco State, and maybe 1-2 more tournaments. I actually would pick Cleveland to win in December, and right now. With everything Cleveland returns they need to try to get into 1-2 of the premier dual events in the country next year. It has to be in the budget lol

Cleveland makes the playoffs but has not made it far enough to play into December in recent memory. They have the advantage over Buford when it comes to getting football players back early.

I highly doubt that. I am from the opposite side of the state, and even I know that Pete Miller has built that from the ground up organically. Not even comparable situations.

Several football programs in state with a deeper history than Cleveland wrestling.

They beat the number one ranked team in 5A pal. 24-7... What is Fultons record this year? Alcoa would run through 4a. Most of the 4 A teams moved up to avoid Alcoa anyways. Worry about the falcons, leave the winning to us.

Cooper Hilton should be the next to announce. Mat Scouts tweeted that he has a decision coming soon. This is the most division 1 talent I have seen come through TN.

Kenny Harris from Alcoa pinned Laxton last year to make the state tournament. Also pinned Click in their only meeting. Had a bad end of the season, but I would look for him to be in the top 3 at 215 when it is all said and done.
