Grunt I listen when you talk about matters such as this. Would we be prepard if N. Korea invaded S. Korea today. I hope so but we are to thin today in what we are doing in the middle east. I don't agree with the reasons the congressman brought the draft up,but it is something we need to be thinking about.IMO.

Yes they meet in the playoffs in 93. It was played at Alcoa and they won in a close game.

Hope Alcoa has a nice trip to Carthage. It will be a great atmosphere for a high school football game. The owls have now made 2 of the last three sem-finals. one of them in 3a.This will be their 3rd time to make it this far. The other time was in 85 when Coach Rankin was here. We lost that year to a very good AE team that had 9 of their 11 starters go to D1 schools. Maybe the 3rd time is a charm.

You and I have alot more in common than you think. I for years was an Independent and voted for Nixon both times and Regan the second term. I feel the same as you on most of the issues you listed.But there are Democarts that agree with you on these. I also believe in protecting the environment,health care, public education,protecting our personal liberty, S.S., and helping the poor and needy. I also believe in a strong Defense and not giving tax breaks to the rich while our middle class is disappearing. I don't believe in giving big business a free hand. That is why I'm a Democart not bacause of my family was.Although I have found them to have been right all along. On these issues we agree I hope the Democarts will move more to the center. My family all where farmers and know what it is like to work hard. As well do I.
