But since Powell didn't win and hasn't beat Webb in the last 3 years, we'll never know. robpride, Couldn't agree with you more. Seems as if the coaches at Powell do not make there players show sprotsmanship. panther08, Ur right those blocks are illegal. Isn't it the job of the officials to call illegal things in a game. Next thing we find out from all of the Powell hopeful is that Webb coaches paid the officials not to call it right. Well, well, this game is not at the right time of the year. This game is to be played late in the season. All of you bobcats better beware. The Debils are for real. No way are they going to loose this game. Why are we playing at Central again this year? We played there last year and have to go back again this year. Why in the world would we go there too times in a row. Somebody screwed up on our schedule. bbs

Well it's just about that time of the year when the Big Red stadium starts rockin. Unfortumately for the Smokey Bars, they will become the first victim to fall to the Debils in what should be an outstanding season. Granted we did not look good against Webb (and we shuld have considering we both run the same basic plays). But I believe we will romp and stomp tomorrow nite beginning at 7:30. The coaches will have the debils geared up to a fevered pitch. I'll be there with many of the Big Red followers cheering the debils onto another win. bbs

Way to go debils. Finally will get to see my debils next Friday night when they kick off the season with a big victory. Hey, QBSdad, what happened to the big Hornits. Don't know anything other than what is posted above, but I'm sure the coaches screwed the pooch costing the Hornits a win. For me, I can't figure out why we would even scrimmage Carter since they are a lower class school. Scratch that thought, they were in the region last year. Let everyone in Hornit and debil land know how the coaches at Carter messed up and let the debils score 2 times in the last 2-3 minutes. Certainly hope the QB had nothing to do with it. bbs

volunteergeneral, Your list was most impressive until you mentioned Bo Hardegree. How can you even think about putting a third string QB at UT, if he is 3rd, with the likes of pro-bowl players in the NFL? The best debil is either lJason Julian or Scott Carter from KNOXVILLE Halls. Both are at the top of the scoring and career rushing list for a career, although I don't know which is first/second. bbs

grandgoody76, Don't know what part of the jambo you watched but my debils did not look to good to me. Webb drove the ball down our throats to score, fumbled in the endzone, fumbled down deep again. Halls offense was not clicking tonight, but thank goodness we have two scrimmages against lesser opponents this coming week. We need to get back to work nad get ready for the Smoky Bears in 2 weeks. nuff said, bbs

Now i don't have a puppy in this argument, but why did Mr. Scott go to ajunior college in the first place. Bet his grades were not up to par. If my statement is true then how can he get into a D-1 school? Terrence Scott was/is a very athletic player, what he does in junior college will determine what he does in a D-1 program, if he gets to a D-1 program. bobkat, you said you were in the office when you heard that Buck didn't want to play in week 0. Maybe Buck didn't want to play week 0, but wanted to play some other week and Helton couldn't play that week. Do you for sure know Helton had Buck on the phone or did he just dial a number and talk to himsalf (happens all the time in the movies). Don't think either is afraid of the other. What does Fulton have to loose, they are the "little 3a" school. Central is the one with everything to loose. Central and Fulton shuld play, not just to settle this verbal spat, but to have a good rivarly game. Would prolly be a big crowd. Wait til the next tssaa changes, then see if they play (07). bbs

Well I guess it's time for me to eat a little crow this morning. Got to the jambo just in time to see my debils go against Webb. After hearing great things from the previous scrimmages, I must admit I was very disappointed in my debils tonight. Offense couldn't move it at all (may have had 40 yards total, defense looked like it took the night off (Webb must have had well over 100 yards). Drove down the field 80 yards tor a TD, fumbled twice down deep in scroing territory. We have a lot of work to do before we open the season in two weeks. Thank goodness we have two scrimmages left against what should be weaker teams (lower class) to try and straighten things out. What is so different about Webb's wingt that gives everyone fits. Someone explain to me what they do that is different from other wingt teams, other than run it properly. Webb's defense can run, and they swarmed to the ball tonight. Now I know they can recruit, oops didn't mean to say that, and give money for tuittion, but there lb and db can run. And there de is a monster. I s he related to the Seviers that played at UT?

PVT, I haven't heard but I would certainly hope we kicked some butt. With what we did to D-B, surley we beat a 2-3A team in Rockwood, and a D-II team in catholic. It would be a big letdown, but i know my debils did all of the croosroad faithful proud. bbs
