I don't think it is a joke they just have no clue!!!!

If you talk to most of these so called VOLLEYBALL EXPERTS on here they will fill you with a bunch of crap about how these girls should only play club volleyball because all of the high school coaches are idiots blah, blah, blah. All of these sports like girls CLUB volleyball and basketball along with the boys sports are the reason for the decline in good high school sports. These girls and boys go play on CLUB teams where they get to play all the time because they have seven or eight players and mommy and daddy are paying thousands of dollars for little Jimmy and Sally to play. Then they have to go compete for a starting job on a high school team and they think it going to be given to them because they play CLUB ball for the Elite-K4-Tennessee-Travel-Expert-Power- Travel Volleyball Organization or whatever. Then about 1% make it to a good D-1 school not to mention the wear and tear it does to a young girl or boy's body playing every weekend. To answer your question Irish if they are die hard CLUB volleyball people you are going to have a hard time getting them to play basketball and it is a shame. If you want any good answers from anybody on here ask beachboy.

The Anderson County thing has about been worn out on here. They were okay but let's move on. Every time somebody gets on here and talks about how good they are or going to be I see them play and I don't see it. I am sure they are a great program. State powerhouse NO.

The rebels will have to play flawless and hope that Fulton makes some mistakes. No lame fight song to get the rebels pumped up so that could work in Fultons favor.

I am starting to believe that some of the Greenville vans on here jhilts are first cousins to DB "the peoples paper champions ". The confidence is coming out of their ears!!!!! The only difference is that Greenville actually won a championship a few years ago, so they deserve a bit of confidence. I believe that they are the favorite but I hope it will be a good game. As for the fans I have never seen anything bad, as for the parking and visitors sections. Suck it up buttercup!!! That is why it is called a HOME FIELD. Walk a little bit and sit in the sucky visitors section.

I hope that Elizabethton wins this game, but if the PRIVATE school CAK shuts down Thomas that is all they have. Defense is very weak in the secondary. I hope the cyclones pull off the upset.

I only pull for the public schools. All private schools should play in their own division.

I don't know anything about Dyersburg, but they beat CAK and Sullivan South. It looks like South is only one player down now and at one point this season I believe three starters were out. It look like CAK has had a few injuries this year as well, but every time I see them play it looks like the whole team did just come from the dentist, and it seems they get out coached when they are matched against somebody good. I love to watch some of the volleyball coaches walk up and down the sidelines and talk the players between every play!! It makes me laugh. I thought that was what practice was for. Don't get me wrong you need to tell them a few thing, but it just looks like a bunch of ego stuff most of the time. This might be the year for CAK who knows. I don't know anything about Catholic this year, but I guess the private schools are still controlling AA in Knoxville. You just never know about districts and regions for anybody. Sullivan North beat Sullivan East once this year and Sullivan East beat Sullivan South once this year.

"The Gauntlet" That is funny!!!!!!! If you don't make it out of the first round of playoffs you might not see better backs. Down the road I am sure there is at least 10 to 12 schools in the state with better backs than DB.

Who cares who wins this game, but if it was a post season and the owls had played them in regular season I would say 34-3 OWLS. Of course everybody knows that would happen!!!!

If it is about COACHING then they should have dropped the coach from DB coach a long time ago. If it about COACHING his track record is great against the little schools and sucky against big schools in his own division. Numbers matter in this area and when DB leaves this area I guess it is all about COACHING and he gets beat. Enrollment CARP has a bunch to do with local teams playing DB as it is fact.

DB has had the numbers on every team in this area for years except maybe for Science Hill. It was a great REGULAR SEASON run but it is over.

Does anybody know if there is a chance for volleyball in Tennessee High School sports in the near future for boys? My son is 9 getting ready to be 10 and he played club ball last year and he was the only boy on the team as there is a new rule that if there is no boys team in the club they can play until they are 12 and then they can't go any further. It is a shame because he loves the game. He really had no choice with his mom coaching and his dad playing all the time he loves to play. We have been in touch with the Southern Storm from Georgia but that is just so far to travel. In a couple of years he will not have an option except to travel a long way to play. I had heard a rumor of middle school volleyball for boys in this area but it has died down. Does anybody have info? thanks

Yes this will be a down year from the state champs of 2012 my bad I thought you guys won it this year. Paper champs live forever

Yep he is an idiot but I think Science Hill wins big as well. When the two big school's go play on down the road it will not be so easy except for the other teams.
