I think the main thing DB needs to do in the off week is keep playing the same way they always do. Smash the little guy and I will give a little credit with Farragut and I think they will beat Science Hil as well. Just don't mention playoff's at practice, games, film room, or anywhere. I do believe they will make it a little farther this year in the post season, but let's don't go hanging the state champs on them yet, let all the DB posters talk about state champ glory years from 1845 or whenever. I would love to see them go play the big schools and travel I am sure 5-6, 7-4 may be good for DB. The trail of tears will be flowing soon enough for the Indians.

It plain and simple it is numbers!! DB beats all the little schools and then get out coached and face more teams with equal and better talent in the playoffs end of story. Who knows this might be there year I hope they do good down the road.

Let's just face the facts and close this DB topic you are in East Tennessee you are the big school besides Science Hill( give them a few more years and you guys will be number 2) if you don't beat up on all the other teams in this area on numbers alone I would be surprised. Yes And when the regular season is over they shut down the tv feeds because they know it is the end of line no more games!!!!! Let's just hope the Rebels win as many as DB usually does one game(coaching has been the same for years and they never win outside of this area) maybe if DB can annex all of central,north and South and grab some of there coaches they can finally win something and it looks like they gradually will.

Don't worry there will plenty of DB fans there, I can be in South's parking lot and throw a rock down to the city limit sign or for that matter some of them can more than likely walk to South to watch the game. Let's hope South beats them and listen to all the crying on here. DB and Science Hill should win 90% of all there sports with the numbers that they have over all these small schools, but they don't and we love it when they lose, but I do have a bad feeling about this game. South is not 5th or 6th they finished 3rd. Would not be a major upset if they come out of the confrence. Science Hill is not looking that swift in the past few games. Central went 5 with science hill last week. South has went five with DB real early in the year. Science Hill beat DB. I would say DB and Science Hill are favored, but no earth shattering upset if one of them gets beat. That is true I know The Coach's very well due to my Job I could not help them out with the Coaching position, but if you do know any guys in High School that would be interested just let me know and I can put them in contact with Coach Toomey(women's coach)

I never understand why they don't play the state Tourny. on maybe thursday, friday and saturday. Their is probably a good reason I guess.

It is going to be a rough road for DB when they have to play other big school's . Even if the have the best kicker in state which is very doubtful. Forget the slaw.
