You know I’m die hard SP supporter. I got a message telling me differently from another supporter. Y’all have blown up too quickly. No one wants to lose. Since when can we not talk about football where we know the opponent is going to be tough?? Geno you used to be the most negative person on here but now that your good friend Coach Jones is here you have changed for the better. I find it hard to believe that a little negative post on coacht messed with a players head to the point of doubt. And it was only 1-2 people talking about it. I mean REALLY?? I’m not arguing with you Geno and I’m not arguing with the guy that messaged me. I’m with y’all. I believe we can win IF we execute near perfect. How does me saying that make me a non-supporter?? I’ve been going to the SP games since I was old enough probably 5 or 6 years old. But I’m a non-supporter now all because I post “1-1”, meaning we might lose this game. There’s always a chance we will lose. The coaches and the kids know this. This is what should fuel them to play harder and smarter! Trust the coaches and follow their direction. Geeszh! Settle down in here folks.

Listen guys, I’m not writing us off. I’m just being real. If play like we did in the first quarter of the SC game, this CC team will score more than 7. They can run and throw like us, but their line play is more experienced. I think we can win, but we have to get the snap better, and we need to keep the pace going the whole game to hopefully wear them down by the 4th quarter then we can kick it in and pull out the win. If you don’t think it will be a very tough game then you don’t know anything about Chatt Christian.

While grundy might be slightly improved, Jasper is just too much for them. Too many skill players with Condra, Hutchins, Rogers, and the VERY talented freshman Sam Pickett.

This should be a great game. I’m thinking they are more evenly matched.

Did you make it to the jamboree? It starts with the snap, and you are right, it was very bad at times. In FG/XP statistics does a bad snap count as an attempt and miss? That will stink for our kicker. Luckily he was 2/2 on XP’s and 1/1 on FG for the jamboree, even with the bad snaps.

Fishing in Battle Creek? Where at up in there? Growing up lots of my family fished down behind Dr Deitsens (spelling?) place. I wonder who lives there now? My granny and uncle loved fishing there especially. Anyways, us SP folks have moved on from the cancellation of the Jasper game. They have not obviously. btw this SC team will give us some fits. I suspect it to be closer than many outsiders believe. We might just see another 1-2 score game. Personally I’m okay with that. I like a good game. 1 week at a time. We had 3 starters out at the jamboree. Hope we get them all back this week.

Thanks We passed when needing to pass, and ran when needing to run. Great play calling by the coaches on both sides of the ball. We had a few key players out. Line play will be difference this year.

Yes I agree. We may have to replace a game next season so we need to push it.
