Thanks, Tigger. That explains a lot. I was really wanting to see the Clarkrange/Riverdale showdown. Instead, I saw the Smyrna/Riverdale smackdown. I'll check Clarkrange's schedule to see if the have any more games in our area. If not, maybe I'll see them in the state tourney, assuming they get there.

She had a couple of key rebounds and points. Alex Adams was the player of the game for Smyrna, I think she is #33. She got a ton of rebounds and put backs for points that not only kept Smyrna in it, but won the game. Dymon Raynor also was a huge presence inside for Smyrna, I guess she is over 6' and a lot of muscle. Riverdale couldn't matchup inside at all.

I know this is off topic, but what happened to Clarkrange against Smyrna a few weeks ago? I was hoping to see a Clarkrange-Riverdale match-up on Saturday night, but saw Smyrna beat Riverdale. Neither team looked too impressive.

I think the MTCS and Forrest game will be a good game on Friday night. Both teams are playing well and have good inside presence. I think Forrest will probably win, but Middle Tenn. Christian will give them a good game. Forrest's outside shooting will be the difference. Or maybe MTCS can put on a good full court defense and cause havock? I may have to sneak over and see this one since we're off Friday night. Good luck!

Vick's problem isn't his arm, it's his height. Is he really even six foot tall? He can't see over those giants to make good passes. I don't know of any way that can be fixed. I guess as long as he can sprint out (to where he can see) he could make passes then.

Florida laid an old fashion whippin' on The Ohio State University. Ohio State looked pathetic! I'm not a Florida fan, but I did admire their play, they definitely showed who the better team was.

I saw the Riverdale / Smyrna game during the holiday break, which Smyrna won. I was shocked that Riverdale didn't have any big girls. I don't think any were even 6', but they had a lot of hustle and evidently their press defense is usually their bread and butter. How does the rest of the district teams do for size at the post position? Also who has the most talented post players in 7 AAA regardless of height?

Two guys were riding through Texas when they got pulled over by the state patrol. So the two guys slide on their seat belts and watch the officer get out of the car. The officer walks over to the driver's window and tapped on it with his flashlight. When the driver rolls down the window he says, "Hello officer..." and the officer hits him across the face with his flashlight. The driver then goes, "Ow, what was that for?" rubbing his face. The officer's reply was, "In Texas, boy, you're supposed to have you're license and registration ready when I come to the window." "I'm sorry, I didn't know." The officer writes the guy a ticket and gives it to him. When the driver received his ticket and was about to roll up his window the officer hit him again. "Ow," the guy screams, "what was that one for?" "In Texas, when we give you a ticket, you're supposed to say thank you." So the guy quickly tells the officer thank you and rolls up his window. The officer then walks around to the passenger side and taps on his window. The passenger rolls down his window and the officer hits him over the head. The passenger then yells, "Ow what was that for?" The officer says, "I was just making your wish come true." "Wish, what wish?" "I know down the road, you're gonna say to your buddy 'I wish that cop would've tried that with me."

The Train Ride In a train carriage there was Bill Clinton, George Bush, Janet Reno and Bo Derek. After several minutes of the trip, the train passes through a dark tunnel and the unmistakable sound of a slap is heard. When they leave the tunnel, Clinton has a big red slap mark on his cheek. (1) Bo Derek thought - "That sleazeball Clinton wanted to touch me and by mistake, he must have put his hand on Janet Reno, who in turn must have slapped his face." I think it's a battle of egos. Trump will not be outdone. His ego is bigger than any of his buildings. Rosie, what a prize there. I can't believe ABC hired her. A lot of times pro bowl selections have a lag effect from the previous season(s), especially for small market teams like the Titans. With a strong finish this year, we should a least get some of our guys noticed for next year.

That's probably about right. I think MTCS has a good team this year too. Some teams are still going to get better, so the tournaments will sort everything out.

Driving to Nashville the other morning on the Interstate, I looked over to my left, and there was a woman in a brand new Mustang doing 80 miles per hour with her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner! I looked away for a couple seconds, and when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that dang makeup!!! It scared me so bad I dropped my electric shaver, which knocked the donut out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying to straighten out the car (using my knees against the steering wheel), it knocked my cell phone away from my other ear, which fell into the coffee between my legs and DISCONNECTED AN IMPORTANT CALL!!! DANG WOMEN DRIVERS!!

I think you're right considering things at this point in the season. Summertown is a strong team and they also play in a strong district, with a tough schedule. A lot of people get on here and jawbone about their teams and how they're going to the state championship, it's really hillarious. If those players get on here and read this stuff, it puts a lot of pressure on them every game. Watching the state tournament last year was very interesting. I don't thing a lot of people respected Forrest and they came in and won some very tight games. Madison Magnet out of Jackson is a very well coached team (they drove me nuts with all of the subs they made, but it was effective). I think this years state tourney will be well worth the cost of admission, because there are some really good "A" teams out there and I think the smaller schools have a better fan following too.
