Spring practice starts at the end of April. We will scrimmage Carter sometime in the beginning of May. Seems to be a big improvement in strength as well as speed for Jeff. Co. The amount of weight in the weight room has increased and the 40 times have gotten faster.

Not sure at all bout the backup QB. I really dont think that a sophomore could handle the job if Long gets hurt. New guy Will Darby may be playin a little QB.

We havent maxed out on anything yet.

It would be nice to have a scrimmage during the spring this year considering we didnt have one last year.

Last year spring practice was at the beginning of March. What players are supposedly transferring? What freshman do you think could dress varsity?

Keep on running your goober smoocher Dude. Cause on game night I'm reading this post to the team just before we go on the field. Nothing like a little inspiration to fire us up even more. By the way your so called fans at the game, while we were walking on the field, wished us luck and "hope you beat the he** out of them". What was that all about????

Yea Karns may have won last year but the Karns fans must of forgotten that we dominated in every statistical category. We also lost our starting FB and WR to season ending injuries with a very good DB going out with an injury as well. There were 3 big plays that Karns had the whole game. The refs were biased as well. Bottom line, Karns won the game but they BY NO MEANS BEAT US. Talk all you want about the last 3 years. You will get a rude awakening next season.

Everybody at Jeff. County is excited about playing Cocke County next year.

There are currently workouts after school twice a week. I believe that is only for current members of the team. Next semester there are workouts everyday during 4th period but you have to be signed up for that class.

It would be closer than a lot of people think but Hoover would win.

The two years before '05, White Pine only lost one game each season but because the lack of a playoff, they didnt get a chance to be champs. Last year was the first year they were champs and I believe this year is the first time they have ever went undefeated. White Pine has always been pretty good but nobody really notices. I wish all the jeff co middle schools played in the same conference.

Yes coach U still coaches and no we haven't given up on our team. If the field is as bad as it sounds I would much rather play on the nice CN turf. I think if we can shut down East's TB we will win it. GO JEFF. CO.!!!

Like you have room to talk. You don't even have a football field. When you get your own stadium then you have the right to start talking. By the way, Jeff County spends most of their money on what is called an EDUCATION. This is why they have a great school system. Which is why the school officials constantly check addresses on students to ensure there are no surrounding county (HAMBLEN) students going to Jefferson County schools.

Long is a good quarterback. He will do fine. Hope Spencer comes back soon.
