Anyone have any actual numbers on what some salaries are, or what's an average salary for a sportswriter?

If Clarkrange presses and pressures the ball I don't see how Westmoreland could win this game. I didn't see one player they had that could dribble the ball. They did shoot the three ball pretty well last night.

Dunking won't get you anywhere if you can't shoot. Although, dunking can change the momentum of a game greatly. It is fun to watch though.

Sounds like the boys played good tonight. Chris Snow has improved alot since his Freshman year. 31 points in a District Tournament game is impressive. 21 in the first half is even more impressive. Good job and good luck boys. Will Clarkrange play tomorrow?

The polls are a joke. It's just something for the fans to have fun with I guess. The teams will probably or should be narrowed down to the ones that have a winning record.

I think it makes for better crowd participation when you've got two teams fans mixed up together. It brings a more intense atmosphere in my opinion but can be bad in some situations.

Why are more of the local teams not in the tournament? When I played a few years ago we (Clarkrange), Crossville, and Cookeville were usually always in it. I think Jackson Co. usually was too.

nativebuff--Me and Nathan played the way we had to play. We didn't have anyone who had any experience after Danny and Baldwin left. I guess I probably could have passed the ball all day and let people keep missing the passes, but after so many of those I figured the game couldn't be won when nobody's getting a shot off. I guess I was just a ballhog. I shot all the time and was the reason we didn't do well during my 4 years. Does that make you feel better? I would have given anything if we had someone with a little experience that wasn't scared to be out there, but we didn't. Anyway, this is the last post I'm making about that past. I don't wanna take anything away from what the boys are doing now. They've won 4 in a row and are doing good. I'm sorry you never got to play in the past and have harsh feelings about a few of us. Maybe you'll get over it someday and come to terms with your self. You're probably hoping the boys don't win any more games this year because you wouldn't be able to complain. Na, I'm sure you'd find something to fuss about. When's the game rescheduled for somebody?

Obviously you don't know what you're talking about. We had a winning season my Junior year. Look it up. As for the part about me fouling out if I wasn't leading scorer, you need to check the old scorebooks because I never fouled out more than 3 times a year at the most. I don't know how the fans get tired of seeing their boys lose because half of them leave after half time and don't know the outcome of the game. Sounds like you should put in for the job. Maybe you should start another thread bashing me too.
