To Coach Thompsons defense if I remember correctly the 9th graders at Fayette Ware are housed with the 8th graders.

Told yesterday it was a sprain and back in 3 days

looks to me like Gant will have to face Gibson County on Monday and if USJ wins they will have their same 8th graders and freshman to face Covington again swo what is the strategy.

Wasn't Hal Williams behind the plate. If I recall correctly he is one of the best the Northwest officials have. And he does most of the Covington, Ripley area games even though he lives in Dyersburg. Last time I talked to coaches he was the ump EVERYONE wanted at their tourney.

Up 55 I think it was more Derek working with Coach Messer than the pitching coach at Memphis. He only was there for little over a month before he was back playing with the Heat.

big wes you got to get over flowers being at dc. as for him getting looks from d1 schools he will. coaches from the region already consider him one of the best players in the region. this is a region with several d1 players on the hill with you.

Brighton barely beats a horrible Memphis South Side. DC wins by 2 or more TD's

District is still up for grabs come tourney time. Any team can beat anybody with a few breaks. Gibson County is really improving. Lost to Crockett 7-0 monday with the score 0-0 in the 6th. Lost 5-1 yesterday with good play from a team that is mostly freshman and sophomores. Messer is doing a great job!

Hal Williams from Dyersburg is one of the most consistant umps in West Tennessee!!

The tournament at Westview is nice, however not letting your spouse in with a T$$AA pass is a bad idea!!! How do others feel.
