I think the ranking is pretty close. I would question whether or not RBS deserves to be #2 given that they have yet to play a quality team. It is easy to be undefeated when you play the games they have played so far. Before I get all of the RBS fans fired up, let me say I think RBS has all the makings for a very good team. I am only pointing out that they have not been tested, yet.
Hey AuntKim - I got to see your team play last night. You are right. Your coach does play a lot of players. I think I counted 11 different players. All five of your posts look solid. I thought your team was very patient on offense. They looked sloppy at times, but I think all of the pieces are there for Forrest to be very tough at the end of the year. Good luck!
Congrats to Smith Co. for making it to the Semis. You were one of the last 4 teams in your classification to be playing last night and that is definitely something to be proud of. Good luck to your seniors.
Clarkrange is definitely playing well against good teams. It is a shame more teams don't play quality opponents. There are a lot of teams out there that think they are great because they are winning games by huge margins. I commend Coach Rogers on his scheduling choices.
West TN dominated AA last year at the State Tourney; however, they brought maybe a combined 50 fans to the game. I know it is a long trip, but you have to support your team.
I do believe that Clarkrange & RBS are the best teams in this district. There are a lot of games to be played and I'm pretty sure these two teams may meet more than twice. In the end, injuries and team chemistry may be the deciding factor. Good luck to all!
In no particular order, I believe the top teams in the state are:
Summertown
Forrest
Collinwood
Red Boiling Springs
Wayne Co.
Clarkrange
I am not familiar with East or West TN teams; therefore none are listed.
I will make one bold prediction: Wayne Co. will be playing in a Sub-state game.
I posted the above reply on another thread. I'm am glad to see that I am on the same page.

Last year Houston Co. lost to Summertown in the Sub-state. Summertown went on to the state tournament semis. Houston Co. lost in the region title to the eventual champions, Forrest. This is definitely not the toughest district in the state, but they do deserve some credit.
You may be correct. The West TN teams last year were big, fast, and athletic. It will be interesting to see if the West TN teams are as good as they were last year. If they aren't, it may be Upperman's year.
OK - since you called me out. Forrest won the state tournament last year. Get over it. This year I do believe Summertown is the front runner; however, Summertown is notorious for blowing it in the state tournament. The last time I checked they don't give gold balls for state tournament appearances. I'm not a Forrest fan, but they have last year's gold ball. I am anxious to see who wins one this year. Best of luck to Forrest and Summertown.
Wayne Co. may be the spoiler in this district. I saw their team at camp this summer. They looked tough. I would not be suprised to see them finish in the top two.
