the LF/P is good. He's very good for a freshman. The catcher is on varsity b/c he's the best of the back-up catchers. Smyrna's starting catcher is a junior. He's not garbage. TheMoose was simply cracking a joke at baseballguy, who is Andy Philips, and has no place to make any comments about anyone being garbage.

Matt Williams(freshman) at Centennial is the best fielding shortstop I have ever seen at his age(14). He is a switch hitter, and has great speed. You will be hearing alot of him in the future. He would be starting varsity if it wasn't for senior shortstop Taylor Scott.

Look back to the Tennessee Copperheads to find a group of freshmen to be watching. Sonny Gray, Brett Lanning, Matt Williams have already been mentioned and played for the team in the past. Franklin High has Matt Headley and Casey Dykes seeing varsity play, BGA has Zach Brannon who is looking to get into the mix and Brentwood High has Ben Burgess. Several other Copperheads are playing JV and/or varsity, as well.

Isnt there a kid named Reeder playing somewhere in mid TN.  I think it may be in Cookeville.  I saw his name in Baseball America a couple of months ago.  He was one of the best 13 year olds in the nation last summer it said.  I dont know whether he is in 8th grade or 9th.

Reeder is a 9th grader. Physically he is an outstanding talent. he should be a 8th grader age wise. Look for him to get some big varsity at bats by the end of the year. He will be a big time player in 7aaa

    • We are optimistic because we will have another great season. You should keep your opinions on your Forrest Rocket board. These kiddos at Marion have had an amazing off season. They are working hard and it is showing. Coach TStark is getting these kids scholarships to get their college for free. Also Coach Harm is back so this is another awesome thing for our kiddos. Forrest will get theirs when they come to Bill Baxter Stadium this season. My main men Sam, Tay and Tilton are going to do amazing things this season. You should just watch and see what these kiddos are capable of doing. The Marion County Warriors are a force to be reckoned with again this year. East Robertson will be a good team again but that is the only big challenge this team will have again. If we can beat East Robertson like I know we can then we will go to the state championship and win the game. As always it is a great day to be a warrior. Go Warriors! We are Marion!
    • The player is only able to go because of the coach who is his dad. The dad is a recruiter not a good coach. HC blamed him for losing the Clinton game in the playoffs.
    • I coached both Copeland and Jordan along with Tanner Wilson, Ryan Weaver, Mason Sharp, and Caleb Rittenhouse to name a few.
    • If OR or Farragut are within 21 points I’ll cash app u $20.
