Obion Co. defeated Crockett Co. 5-0.The Rebels have now won four in a row and five of their last six.They have outscored their last four opponents by a combined score of 26-0.They are playing really well and have a new found confidence.They will next play Dyer Co. Saturday night.

 

LETS GO REBELS!!!

OC's Heatin' things up!! Beat UC on Tuesday 8-0 and tonight beat Crockett County 5 - 0. Can't say beating UC was a fluke! Looks like the boys decided to play ball and have turned their defensive play around. Way to go boys! Pitching has been awesome with a 1-hit shutout on Tuesday and (I think) a 3-hit shutout tonight.

Are you a Crockett Co. fan or parent?  If you are a parent then what number is your son?  I dont know why Crockett's Coaches act like that.  I think that they are good guys off the field but I dont know what there problem is on the field.

A baseball fan that appreciates good sportsmanship, good leadership (on the field and off) and concern about youth today. Alot of kids are lacking good influences these days and as a older person it is upsetting especially to see and hear what is happening in sports of all kind these days. I hope they are good guys off the field. I guess when winning is all that matters, feelings and poor judgement are suppose to be excuses for such actions as what happened in Chester Co.

Rambo pitched a great game, had the hitters' timing off all night, but no way that qualifies as heat. I remarked at the game last night that he didn't seem to throw considerably harder than when we first face him in 13-year old babe Ruth All-Stars, but his control and consistency have improved tremendously.

 

Congrats to Obion County...you were prepared to play and hungry for a win and it showed in your performance. I wish we had shown some of that same spark.

What do yall think are the chances that Crockett Co. will falter again tonight against Gibson Co? IF they dont falter tonight, What are the chances that they will falter sometime in the near future in this tournament? I think that they have had good records the past 5 or 6 years coming into the tournament but have never got out of the tournament. What would be the cause of that? Is it because they play a week schedule during the regular season or what?

Good chance Crockett falters today. The team seems to have a lack of motivation and focus.

just goes to show you how important your regular season scheduling should be including tournaments! I hope your coaches understand now that your regular season record doesnt mean anything! Tournament time is what it is all about-- the regular season should prepare you for it!! But when you play lake county , haywood etc.. ---- its hard to get your team ready for the best! So what happend at Chester County --- Did Crocketts Coach get thrown out?

      I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.

      You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.

      I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
