CCS and FRA

This response is for wilsoneddy.Don't ever say that anything about FRA is classless. Before I get into the game, I would like to point out that FRA is an amazing school. The'05 class alone has THREE students attending either West Point or the U.S. Naval Academy. Tell me when your school has had more than one in a decade. I played in that game. I was number 14 for FRA. Your "classy" CCS parents shouted derogatory comments at us the entire game. In order to defend myself and my teammates I shouted right back for those "really classy" parents to shut up. At FRA, we play strong, physical soccer. That's what we have always done and will continue to do. We deserve to play in the championship against CAK. The only reason CCS beat us is because the officials had it in for us the entire game. Neither one of our goals that were called back deserved it. I promise you I had a better view than any of your "classy" CCS parents or the pitiful refs. Again, never say that CCS is a better school than FRA. CCS is a sub-par school with no class.

Ok, Juice Box and Yank. Quit getting all high and mighty about FRA. FRA plays just as hard and as "classy" or "classless" (Whatever way you wanna look at it) as other teams. Yank, you were not there, you got second hand information. You think that the people telling you the story are gonna point out they were jerks to CCS? Probably not. I am on the FRA soccer team and we talk as much trash as any of the other teams. The refs were not very good however as Yank said earlier, the game should NOT come down to the refs. FRA should have played well enough to win the game despite the refs. But we didn't and as a result we lost.

Ok, what the heck does this have to do with anything related to soccer? Did these players play in that game? No.

In summary: FRA and its fans can be just as classless as other schools. We do NOT play dirty soccer though. We play clean but hard. Refs were bad but you can't blame a game on the refs. Teams shoulda played hard enough to not have to rely on refs for the win.

Hey Suspect, shut it and be quiet, this year was your only year to play soccer on our team so don't talk to any of us about "whining." We worked our butts off to accomplish what we have done. You didn't go through the dissappointment of state loses for three years so shut your mouth. Yank and i are just defending our school. We take a lot of pride in FRA. You should too, you wouldn't be where you are now without it.

FRA: you had no problem holding your head up high & saying cute little remarks while the ref was on your side all the way Wednesday...you need to take a lesson on "what goes around comes around". You need to get over yourself & go on, you would not have been able to beat CAK anyway.

First let's set the record straight as I was at the game. The refs did not have to be escorted off the field. However, there was a considerable amount of verbal abuse thrown at them from both the FRA parents and players after the game. It was pretty classless and was a poor reflection on a fine school and community.

Second, FRA plays a very physical style of soccer. Always pushing the edge of the envelope to the level of getting players hurt. They ran up against a team of refs that didn't allow that style of play.

Third, the first goal that was called off was due to a FRA player knocking the goalie into the goal, very obvious. The second goal called off was a clear off sides.

Finally, both teams need to be congratulated for a very emotional hard fought contest.

Yes FRA lost, and i know you cant blame the refs for the calls in any games, but in this one you can. The goals that were taken away were not legitimate....I am the player that was "offsides" as you mentioned in the goal that was taken away...for one her didnt call offsides...he called a hold on me which is absurd because i ran behind the guy and won the header over him because he was like 5 feet tall...the other goal was different...when four players go straight up and the keeper is small he might get knocked over...it wasnt "obvious"....again the PK was not a good call...it was a clean tackle...they tackled well and neither of them fell or anything....and the red card...it was me who got the card so i dont need anyone telling me if it was legitmate or not....the first yellow was for Persistant fouling...when you call a game where each touch is a foul...you cant give a card for that...none of the fouls were dirty and somewerent even fouls....the second yellow....its not like he was standing under the ball and i cleaned him out...we both had a running start...i happened to jump higher and i was taller so i headed the ball and his head hit my shoulder....i have the bruise to prove it...he landed hard and that wasnt my fault....thats def not cardable but according to him it was...nothing changes now but i just dont wanna hear rumors about calls when PARENTS or ONLOOKERS dont know what really happend...finally we dont "push the envelope to get people hurt" its called soccer...the hard part is...there are smaller players that get knocked off the ball easier when you have senoirs through freshman...you have to let people play or the game has no flow...this kills the whole game in general

hey lchalfback, you obviously did not pay attention to the FRA/LC game, there were bad calls both ways and you have no business commenting on the FRA/CCS game, you were already back home

i do not live in memphis..therefore i am not back home, i saw the game last night & i do know that game was called alot better than the the lc/fra game, at least it was not one sided.

OK I guess there is something I need to clarify. I didn't mean that FRA didn't play hard. I thought the way we played was the most intense and hard I've seen em play all year. What I meant was that the game shouldn't have come down to the refs. The play of the players should have decided the game rather than the refs.
