baseballaforever
Andrew Cooper is probably the best linebacker I have seen. He is 5"11 160 pounds and I heard he is D-
aj1133
I'll bet if you ask Elrod from Lipscomb he would tell you...Clint Casteel. That kid lays the wood. He has good size, good speed, and no problems putting his body on the line...when he hits someone it is like a train wreck or explosion. williebgovs04
I think that Hamilton Borden from William Blount is one of the best Linebackers around. He is a very smart player that hits hard. He is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet. He doesnt trash talk and after he hits u he will pick right up and pat you on the back. He a little undersized so he may not make it d1 but i believe he has what it takes.
TooSicks
Matt Thurman for Tullahoma. One of the top 5 tackler in the state after 3 games. 3 year starter and one of the leading tacklers in region for last 3 years. Check him out Maplewood vs Tullahoma 825751995[/snapback] Are you serious! Tullahoma has a nice set of backers, but Thurman looked out of place when facing the speed of Maplewood as did the others. #44, the safety is an athlete, but after one guy goes for 382, admitting that you're an LB on that defense ain't wassup. The guys on the other side of the ball, Thomas Majors, Sadaris Jones, Nathaniel Young, and Dominique Howard, fast, versatile, and aggressive. Howard and Young moved out to cover Tullahoma's WRs. Bigcat20
I was just gonna throw in Joshua(#36) and Jeremiah(#55), the Justice twins from Oliver Springs. They are the keys to the OS defense. They both cause havoc on the QB and chase down plays from behind. This past week at Rockwood they combined for 4 or 5 sacks, and a blocked punt. Also, they play both ways, which makes it more difficult to keep up their stamina throughout the entire game/season, but so far so good. I havent seen these others that are listed play, but I know the Justice twins are very good at what they do.

kazam37
Pound for pound, the best linebacker in these parts is Cameron Spradlin of Oneida. If you can find film of Oneida's games, #44 shows up in frame after frame of the Indians defensive stops. He is certainly not the most impressive physical speciment on the field, yet he continually reaches the ball and offers the person carrying it a bona fide LICK. He will lead, for the second year in a row, the Indians in tackles if he remains injury free, and as good as this defense persues, thats saying a lot.
