Im taking Fridays off during football season. Oh I'll be here, but I'll be talking football all day.

and hey look at it like this, if E-town loses, everyone saw it comming, and if they win, everyone will go against DB the rest of the year.  so e-town has nothing to lose, so play a great game, knock some heads off and we will see what happens.

Quite a good point, but not 'everyone' thinks DB will get out of town with a 'W'. I look for it to be a very, very good game. Both teams are reasonably young, but Betsy returns the bulk of it's offensive weapons and defense. I look for DBs defense to be very strong with it's offense a work in progress. Whoever can establish a run game without turnovers will prove to be the winner. And like Art, I think the kicking game will benefit DB. I look for both teams passing games to be bad on timing early in the season with some possible picks from both sides. Both teams should roll by mid season. Good luck.......

only thing im worried about for DB is if it rains. I went to the Halls scrimmage and there was a very light drizzle going on, and there were fumbles just everywhere, and people dropping passes, but DB has never really played well in the rain, and I dont know what you could do to help it, but someone needs to help it. I still think DB will win it

Rain probably hurts both teams. Looking at the weather map, we should only see a pop up shower at best. That usually means a drencher.......

Bud, Waco, Fart, good to see you guys are still alive and kickin. Good luck to your boys tonite, doesnt sound like DB will be as strong as in the fast few seasons but still a DB team none the less. They should handle Elizabethton as long as there isnt a Witten lining up across from the DB kids.

17-0 Tribe at halftime. Could be worse too, as the entire first half was played on the Cyclones' end of the field thanks to turnovers and DB's good kicking game. Credit the Betsy D for hanging tough enough to keep them in the game.

31-0 Tribe with 7:00 minutes left. The Indian D dominates, and the O takes advantage of great field position. The Betsy D played a lot better than the score indicates, but its O left them on the field all night, often in terrible field position.
