And your NL East IS done for the winter. Beaten by a team that was never even in the race in the lowly NL Central. So sad...

 

You know opperman it is funny how you show up after the milk is spilled and talk smack when you havent spoken a word in a while, and we all know had the Braves advanced and beat the Cards, we still wouldnt be hearing from you, so what you say has effect on me! GOOD DAY! :thumb:

In fact your last post on this thread was July 25 2005, the 34th post on this thread! Over 2 months before the playoffs started, so if you have something to say about the playoffs tell someone who cares! Anyone can play MONDAY MORNING QB! :thumb:

Haven't had time to get on here lately, and then my computer dying last week didn't help things.

 

Due to my job, I'm probably going to be down to once-a-week or so, and the last few weekends have just killed me in terms of energy. (I'll put it this way, I work in a college athletics department...and with football every weekend AND being responsible for all our other sports too, I don't have as much coacht time)

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
