Let's be real here. Campbellsville is not a bad school. But competing for a national championship...no, not within reach unless some major changes are made. They're never going to beat Georgetown until they make some big-time changes. But they will compete for one of the top spots in the conference.

 

Campbellsville has some talent, but the undersized player with a big heart can play there too. That's just NAIA football for you.

 

Campbellsville has underachieved the past couple of years. Maybe the Tigers will step it back up.

 

It may be this way everywhere, but small-school football in Kentucky seems to be all offense and no defense. Maybe that's just NAIA football in general. Kentucky high school football is that way too, containing a big-time emphasis on offense and numbers.

 

Good luck to the new coach and the program at CU.
