I hope to see the Irish win. JPII is going to be a big play team, they will probably try to break something early trying to get our boys to hang thier heads. Our strength is our defense, so we should be able to slow them down. If we can stay in it until the 4th quarter our depth should help us pull it out. It sounds like JP has several offensive weapons but we have a few of our own and should be able to match up well. This game will be a slober knocker and I don't think that either team is going to lay down, the winner will have definately earned it. I know that these Ryan boys have been looking forward to this one for a long time and I believe that our program is back to where we can win this type of game. Coach Lussier has brought these boys a long way in a short time and I hope it starts translating into W's on friday night. The entire community is ready to get back to those days.

I dont think the score is gonna be THAT big between the teams, whoever wins. You gotta expect a close game.

I agree the score will not be a run away like 33-13 or even as ryanboy says 28-7(?). But the knights are pretty strong this year...I still say knights 21-17.

Though Pope may be strong, they have never beaten the Irish... therefore... 28-21 Irish in a thriller...and FRW... was that kitty stuff necessary?
